Having run up to the vent that Mark had been dragged down, Gene had ripped a concussion grenade off her vest and was just about to pull the pin when Mark came running out firing his weapon. A moment later, a split second, and the Xenomorph was charging after him. Not having enough time to raise her rail gun, Gene grabbed Mark and pulled him off to the side a few meters. Then raised her rifle towards the side vent, taking a knee quickly but only saw the back of the Xenomorph as it ran away down the tunnel in the direction that Gene and Mark had been going originally.

"Malus, were heading towards the Hive, expect one pissed of Xeno to be arriving any second." Gene called through the W-Y comms channel before taking off down the tunnel.

Behind her Mark followed, she had noticed that although bruised he had escaped the encounter as healthy as anyone could have hoped.

Minutes later, when the sound of rushing water grew louder, and each side vent had been marked with a motion detector, Gene and Mark arrived at the exchange between the sewers. The large area held the queen and more than a few other Xenomorphs.

"We have arrived at the Hive, where are you?" she spoke quietly in a whisper, checking back behind them every few moments, even though they would get updates in real time if anything followed them. She looked through her scope, using the night vision filter to scan around, it was a very hostile area.

Gene crouched down, a meter back inside the tunnel, the flowing water rushing past their feet and crashing down into the larger puddle below. Gene was thankful that it was noisy, meaning that it may cover any sounds that Mark and Gene had made approaching. Off in the Hive Gene could easily hear gunfire. It seemed as though the action had begun, and that it was bug killing time.

"Jesus..." Mark whispered, looking into the cavern that was full of bugs and shooting. He was crouched near Gene, and was still huffing after his close encounter of the third kind. It was one hell of a day, and he was hoping that he could do some damage. He slung his pulse rifle over his shoulder and unslung Carmine's M-90 grenade launcher.

He checked the launcher to be sure it was locked and loaded with Spider Grenades and noticed the horde of Aliens moving towards Saysell, and Xeuss.

"FIRE IN THE HOLE!" Mark cried, raising the grenade launcher to bear , setting it to detonation one second after impact. "THIS IS FOR ALICE ASSHOLES!"

He squeezed the trigger twice, aiming for the rear of the horde, and smoke trailed out of the barrel as the grenades lobbed off. Booms echoed from their area, and the grenades landed just behind the Xeno group and exploded, sending shrapnel for the backs of the xenos.
Mark hoped that this would give Saysell and Xeuss time to get running while the xenos were shocked.

Waralien, Human, 15 years ago

War heard the grenade pop from the barrel before the intial "thump" and boom. He hissed an order quickly to scatter. It was too late. The grenades hit the rear of the horde and killed two Predaliens and his warriors. The aliens from the lab and Kirby managed to realize the sound and moved quickly away. Though not quick enough as War saw several gashes from the shrapnel.

War scanned the room quickly. He found his target. Cocking his head back, Waralien shot out a stream of acid and dislodged the two marines from their roost. Both fell to the ground of the chamber floor. War did a quick check on both. One seemed to be suited for more ranged tatics than anything. The other was suited for most situations, even carrying a grenade launcher.

War shot another acid spit on to them. Both fell behind cover. War then screeched to Firehunter: "Take care of those two. I'll deal with the new comers."

War advanced to their position. And without warning sprang behind their cover and grabbed the grenade handleing one and chucked him across the room. That left his attention to the female.

FireHunter, Human, 15 years ago

FireHunter looked at Xeuss and Saysell, grinning devilishly, he ran up to them and grabbed them both by the throat, bellowing deeply, he tossed Saysell about three meters through the air. He looked back at Xeuss and hissed, his mighty jaw opening, rank breath seeping into Xeuss' nostrils, and the second jaw shot out and bit Xeuss on the lower lip, tearing it off. FireHunter roared in what would have been laughter, and threw Xeuss as well.
"Good" the queen said in an impressed tone "good".

GeneWells, Human, 15 years ago

Having fallen several meters to the ground, Gene had landed harshly on her feet and had forced herself to roll. Mainly to protect her rifle, but also to save her ankles any damage. Something was smoking, and hissing as she landed and Gene looked down quickly to see a splash of acidic spit on her shin armour. Unpopping the latches she flicking it off. Letting it fully melt through onto the ground.

Then, before she could do anything one of the Xenomorphs was upon her, not her luckily but Harrows. She scurried backwards a few meters before it had time to get over the top of her.

Her pistol was gone, but she had all her other weapons, having only fired one round from her rifle for the entire mission. Her rifle was across her chest still, one hand still held it there, a finger dangerously close to the trigger. Gene wanted to freeze, to allow the beast to kill her swiftly, to not fight the death. Rolling over as soon as her back hit a wall she forced herself onto her knees and then her feet. Something dropped to the ground as she moved, a small metal container. Harrows was thrown as she spun around to face the creature.

"CONCUSSION NADE!" was yelled as she pulled the trigger of her rifle, the sling almost slipping off her shoulder as she did so. Off the hip she didn't aim to kill the beast, but hitting it anywhere would be more than enough for her to get out of striking distance. Letting the barrel drop, the shoulder sling caught the weight as she let go of the rifle. The grenade counted down as Gene moved in what seemed like slow motion. Her arms coming up as she ducked behind cover, wrapping around her ears and protecting her head. A split second after the round from her rail gun impacted the xenomorph the explosion erupted. Sending a concussive force enough to damage the ear drums of a human through it's blast radius.

During training Gene had been told that xenomorph's use the vibrations in air, or what they can feel from their surroundings to see. Or like bats used sound to see. She hoped that a concussion grenade would be absolute hell for one caught within the blast radius, or at least loud enough to damage it's sensory perception. Blinding it at the least until the effects wore off.

R10TR10TUP54RT, Human, 15 years ago

Mark skidded along the ground, grunting with the impact of being thrown, and having been dislodged from his and Gene's perch above the chamber. The acid was hissing and spitting as it ate through his body armor and he went the same way Gene had, flicking off the clasps and tossing his chest, and both of his shin guards off of him before the acid ate through and began to burn him alive.

His helmet was lopsided, and Carmine's grenade launcher was over five feet from him. He felt naked and exposed, but realized he still had his pulse rifle. He was about to unsling it when Gene yelled out the warning for the concussion grenade.

"Shit!" Mark cursed, rolling up in a ball and covering his head as the grenade went off, his pulse rifle in front of him. The grenade went off, and Gene took a shot.

Mark's ears were ringing, but he knew from experience that extra noise fucked up a Xeno's sense of hearing something shocking. He picked up his pulse rifle, knelt, aimed down the sight, and now that Gene was out of the way, let a long and roaring burst of round loose at War. His hands were steady, but his heart rate was jacked high as hell as he emptied the whole magazine at the Xeno.

"You picked the wrong man to make out with, faggot!" Xeuss told the predalien as he was grabbing a drone by the arm and pulling on it as hard as he could to turn it to him. "I AM YOUR ALPHA!" he screeched as loud as he could to get the drones' attention. The Queen was in great pain now and her focus had failed. The hive was getting receptive to his commands. "I AM YOUR ALPHA, FOLLOW ME!" he screeched again as he andrily punched the drone in the head and the drone submitted. A few other drones around him submitted too. "Kill him!" he screeched and the drones jumped at Firehunter all together, throwing him to the ground. The predalien looked badly hurt from a precious fight.

Xeuss got his pulse rifle and shot at the predaliens arm as it was getting up with the drones still holding on to it. The bullets shattered the bone structure and half the arm was now only hanging uselessly, but painfully. This threw it off balance and made it fall to the ground again. Xeuss kept screeching "Kill him! KILL HIM!" not to lose command ofer the drones. He picked up his knofe with both his hands and leaped at the fallen predalien, but as the knife got stuck inside it's head, Xeuss shoulder snapped at the wound. Now his left hand was also hanging uselessly. "THE IRONY!" Xeuss shouted "SAYSELL, GET THAT DETONATOR AND PRESS THE BUTTON! I DON'T KNOW WHAT HE WAS TRYING TO DO BY THROWING IT AWAY BUT HE DOESN'T LOOK TOO SMART-" and that's all he could say before a drone fell off the predalien's back right on his chest. "GET HIM AWAY!" he screeched and the drones fought to get a good grab on the predalien. Eventually overwhelmed, the predalien got dragged twards the exit.

Xeuss got up and moved quickly twards the exit. The Queen was settling and the drones' submission would not be available for long. "STOP ATTACKING!" he screeched at the drones around him. "THAT IS NOT YOUR QUEEN! THAT IS NOT YOUR QUEEN! KILL HER!" a few drones agreed right away, but some of them had to be convinced a little. His pheromones suggested superiority, but the Queen had to be hurt and distracted, otherwise he would be overwhelmed. Desperate for her alpha's falure and her loss in submission she was now screaming like a lunatic. The drones jumped at he head and started taking bites out of her. Most got dismissed fast and thrown away. But then a worse thing happened that could have been avoided. She rose, ripped herself from the appendix and stepped on the platform all of them were standing on. She was much bigger than she looked. At this sight, everything just stopped at first.

But then she stepped and roared. It was like a scene from some old movie, Jurnalistic Prick or whatever, Xeuss couldn't remember, it was the only scene he had seen of it, a scene with a huge reptile roaring. This was like that, only bigger. "Damnit... SAYSELL, WE GOT A PROBLEM HERE!"

Gaunt, Human, 15 years ago

Gaunt had heard all of the gun fire and explosions, But he was shocked to see that the royal chamber had been infiltrateed so easily.
He climbed through a small gap near the main enterance, Avoiding any detection, But that wouldn't matter now.
The queen was in disstress she had ripped herself away from her egg sack and was screaming in pain.
Saysell and Xeuss were in the royal chamber, Firehunter was standing over them.
Gaunt didn't care what was happening now, He just ran next to Firehunter. He said to Firehunter 'Saysell is mine'.
He looked at Saysell who was pulling himself from the ground, He shouted to him 'Lets end this Saysell!!!'.
He waited for Saysell to get up, This was going to be a fair fight.
Gaunt waited, Staring at Saysell waiting for him to make his move.

x_saysell, Human, 15 years ago

"Get out of my way you little fat worm." Saysell said with a grimace as he pulled himself up, he moved towards the small fat chestburster and with an almighty kick sent him hurtling towards the queen.
He had been lucky in where Firhunter had tossed him, he was close to the detonator, and close was good.

Seeing the detonator within reach Saysell leapt on top of it, this time without hesitating.
"See you in hell you ugly bitch!" Saysell bellowed with revenge in his voice as he pressed down on the button
...
BOOM!
...
A flash of flame and fury surged from the C4, engulfing the queen and most of the chamber. Quickly ducking and covering his head Saysell just evaded the flame in time.
Standing back up he quickly looked around, most of the drone where now little more than smouldering piles of carcase.
Then to the horror of every human in the chamber, she stood back up.
Although somewhat crispier than before and now missing one arm and the majority of her head crest.
"Xeuss! You underestimated her size!" Pulling his shotgun round; Saysell began to open fire on the close by drones.
As he readied himself for to charge the queen a repeating annoyance came running from the ash, Gaunt was back and he was pissed. Leaping from the ground Saysell narrowly avoided his attack, only to turn and miss the chestburster with his foot.
Gaunt was now severally burned and was missing even more of his tail.
"Just die." Saysell pleaded as he fired his shotgun narrowly missing the chestburster.
"Or just leave me alone. I have bigger things to worry about." Firing for a second time, this time the round hit the chestburster. Sending him hurtling backwards under the force of the shot.
"Surely there can't be much left now." Saysell joked before he quickly realised the queen was no longer dazed and she was pissed, but unlike Gaunt she was big and dangerous. And coming towards him.

"Ohh fuck!" Saysell yelled leaping from the path of the on coming juggernaut.
"A little help would be awfully nice!" Saysell yelled towards Xeuss as he kept firing into the queen.

Waralien, Human, 15 years ago

War was really pissed off, that concussion grenade played hell with his vision, but not his sences. He heard the other's movement and guess he was taking aim. A short blast later told War he was right. Not being able to see cost War a few shots to his body and leg. War ran off and allowed the sound to dissapate. As soon as it had he turn back to the two marines.

War let out a screech and jumped high. The two couldn't track his movements quick enough and lost sight of him quickly. War then grabbed both from behind and slammed them together.

This was troublesome, he had to separate the two but separating them ment having to deal with two forces at different moments. War then threw the female against the wall, knowing that her actions were more readable. War focused on the other. Picking him up with both hands, War slammed him to the floor then threw him across the room satisfied that he did enough to disorent him.

War grabbed the female from the floor and did just the same, throwing her to the opposite end of the hive.

This way War could read both without too much trouble.

-Bloo-, Human, 15 years ago

The eerie atmosphere of the silent night brings worry and conflict into the young one's mind.

The serpent lifts its limbs from the rough ground, scaled-down particle explosions of dust surrounding the serpent's sudden burst of emotion. Hundreds of mental blows to its head cause it to rampage in anger and frustration.

Its revolting body releases translucent body fluids from various areas and stains the ground beneath. Beautiful as the colors are sparkling with the moon's guiding light, the over-sized insect swipes at them, unfolds its petite body, and ultimately screams in despair. The Queen Mother is in trouble. She is... dying? Now her previous actions make much more sense. Why had its superior rushed it to this area, secluded in isolation from the rest of its kind?

Calming, it sits for a moment and it wonders to itself whether or not its purpose will have to be met. It then realizes the one beauty of the human world that the xenomorph's world shares: the dawn of the immortal sun, burning with might over all. The skies turn to the reddish orange that it has been known for since the beginning of time.

And so, inspired once again, the grey of small stature raises its skeletal body, glistening from the coats of the serene liquid oozing from its body and holds its head up well high and roars. The serpent smiles and sits again beneath the giant tree not far from the borders of the city, and it lies in wait, ensured of its lasting existance. With the last thought of worry lifted from the young one's spirits it ceases the consumption of its energy and rests beneath the shade of the great tree, soothed to sleep by the sounds of gunfire and warcraft.
___

It is the early dawn as even more humans attempt to penetrate the defenses of the xenomorph hive, all succeeding. Within the disgusting labyrinth of decaying flesh and coats of crimson a low mist lies over everything, shielding the human's eyes from the truly horrible remains kept at the bottom of the many tunnels.

Shrieking in terror, the great serpent rises from the ashes of its burned brethren and casts aside all feelings of anything that wasn't pure fury, and it leaps across its invaded home, one tunnel to the other, hoping to catch these pathetic humans in their futile attempts to rid their cradle world's influence of the other dominant species: the xenomorph.

Bloo is still rushing to the Queen Mother's chamber as another feeling takes it over and causes it to cease any action it was previously performing. Even more feelings of hate circulates through the crazed abomination and its raises its temper to a nearby cripple, its lower-body blown clean off, but still living.

You are able! I will not have weakness in this hive!

And with that, Bloo crushes its small head despite its pleas for redemption. Green liquid gushes from the worker's head and pieces of brain and flesh scatter among the tunnel. Bloo snatches up its second jaw and rips it in two with its own jaws. It was truly becoming a serial killer, even compared to its own kind, and without realizing it, the imbodiment of the deadly sin wrath.

Without another thought, it again heads for its mother's living quarters. Raging with raw anger and power within its fists, it furiously beats at the ground with ever step it takes, splashes of the age-old water stained with the color black painting the walls of the tunnels.

More screams, more deaths. It senses on-coming defeat within the hordes of its own kind, but it would not have any of that. So it realizes upon arriving with the mass groups of the xenomorph that the intruders are indeed attempting to murder the Queen Mother. Now it makes sense. The petite drone from before was to become a grey. A warrior of his status didn't have the purity of a child, and so the Queen overlooked the possibility of Bloo ever becoming the creator of the next sin.

Bloo, as furious as it was, becomes evem more enraged with everything around it and forces forcing itself to the front of the hordes, not caring whether or not it killed another of its kind in the proccess. Bloo is the first of the incoming horde to witness the utter destruction of the Queen Mother. A bright yellow cloud enshrouds the area, and the Queen along with her newly born eggs are engulfed in the flames. The human group stood there, forcing the xenomorphs back with their weapons that procude flames and gunfire from their armaments. And there were two xenomorph disguised in human skin.

As it thought. A trick from the human's side.

Every single xenomorph in the room screeched in agony for their mother, yet some of them began attacking her. What was this? Treason? He could sense the xenomorph in human skin tricking its lesser brothers, those fools. A human attacking the Queen Mother was one thing. A xenomorph was another. And a whole group of them, attacking a superior Predalien!

The Queen emerges from the orange mushroom cloud and shrieks as she detaches herself from the eggsack and attempts to intimidate her corrupt sons, giving them a nice look at her great size and power. But they won't have any of that, and so they attack once more.

The sin of wrath completely takes over Bloo from that point on. The creature stands up from its usual quadruped stature and leans back with jaws wide apart. It howls, and the cry of Satan is heard. Its brothers stop their useless babbling, and every head points toward the source of the cry.

Bloo raises its head up once more, showing off its large body and grins, teeth shown to be a silver color stained with the blood of his own kind, and saliva trickling down like the waterfalls of the great cliffs connecting to the seas. One of the humans looks, aim, and opens fire. But Bloo is too fast for his attempt, and even closer it gets, seeking utter revenge. And still they are too far, so it uses those lesser drones who think they can betray the hive as meat shields, and the other leaders of the hive follow suit.

You think you can come to my home and take over, you think you can wipe us off the face of the planet. But if I am going down, then I am taking you with me, and putting you farther below than I ever will be. And the red demon with his maniacal laugh will finally, in due time, have his way.

Dragon, Human, 15 years ago

Finding THe hybrid's body, he used it for his own reasons. The, dead female, was now his sled being used on the roof as he jumped up and upon it.

THe body was used as a leverage so his bones don't break and such. Smiling and laughing as he fell from the roof, to the next floor and the like, until he fell on top of something harder than the body. Arching the brow, he moved quickly, rolling along the floor towards the wall. The gun out and level with a black being, the bullets soon flew from the nuzzle towards one of the xenos.

This man, wasn't a hybrid at all, but an experiment. The government decided to try to make him a killer with no regrets. The body of Shadowatching on the ground, bloodier and more collapsed then the previous injury. A grin crossed his lips, "Now, bitch" The voice rasped as the laughter filled the room along with the smoke and bullets from his gun.

Kidd, Human, 15 years ago

The small marine group enters the Queen's Chamber with incinerators ignited and pulse rifles at the ready. Advancing into the room and keeping distance away from the Xenomorph Queen, the teams starts to cover holes in which the monsters are coming from.
Kidd, stopping only a moment to gaze at the beauty and the intimidating size of the Queen, the marine smiles and evil grin only to hollar out to the few humans who are battling the monster, "Sorry for the delay. Had to drop a scientist off. Don't you worry too much, we'll take care of the minions." Turning away and facing the the two marines that he brought in with him, he orders the soldiers to keep the serphents at bay.

Valk, running towards the hole closest to the team, he aims his incinerator unit and squeezes the trigger to shoot out a burning fireball down the tunnel, killing and or injuring any bugs that was caught in the blaze. The other marine, Young, runs past around Valk and covers the tunnel on the opposite side of the chamber. Doing the exact samething that Valk is doing, he was caught unaware by th amount of fuel he has in his weapon. Forcing himself to throw down his flame unit and bringing up his rifle, he fires at any insect that dares show themselves to his line of sight. Not a very effective method as Valk's, Young continues to give his 110% in the fight. Kidd, knowing that he will have play two seperate roles as to aiding his men and assisting the two men who are battling the queen. Rushing in between his two marines and assisting in on covering the few holes that they are unable to cover, Kidd fires his M41A1 pulse rifle at the monsters which are pouring from the holes. No sooner as he arrived at the center, Kidd was forced to reload his weapon as he emptied the magazine that he was using.

The marine leader takes a knee and reloads his rifle, and while he is doing that, he looks up at the men fighting the queen, seeing one pushing the button of the device in which he was holding, the Queen disappeared in a huge explosion of flame and dust and the entire chamber shook from the vibration of the blast. A moment of silence took over the room as dust floats around the chamber momentarily. Coughing and waving the dust away from his face, Kidd slaps the magazine of his rifle into his weapon and loads it. Turning back, Kidd assists his marines by covering holding off the Xenomorph forces that are charging at them.

Just then, Kidd heard a roar behind him which caused him to look back at the two men. Seeing that the queen survived the blast, she charged out from the cloud of dust to ram the man who detonated the explosive. Blowing out hot air, Kidd yells for his men to continue on with holding the horde off as he runs off to aid the two men. Rushing in to the fray, Kidd stops a good thirty yards away from the beast, Lifting his rifle up and taking aim for the monster's head, he fires his rifle at full auto, followed along with a shot from his grenade launcher. His attack proved to be futile as the queen stops to look at him. Screeching in anger, the young marine swallowed hardas he saw the Queen turned her massive body around and starts to advance on him. Stepping back and firing his rifle, Kidd struggles to keep his distance from the monstrosity only to fall to the ground with a thud. Head hitting the ground hard, Kidd sees nothing but white for a split second and then finally the chamber's ceiling. Kidd tripped over a rock jutting up from the chamber's floor and when he landed, his head impacted the ground with a crack. Luckily for Kidd, he was wearing his helmet before his head hit the ground. Soon, the queen's body soon covered the sight of the ceiling, and with her looking down at him, she raises her right leg up in attempt to stomp the marine to death.

Saving his squad leader in the nick of time, Valk rushes up with his flame unit blazing at the Mother Queen, causing her to stagger backwards from the intense heat. Chasing her away and covering Kidd, Valk, holds his ground as he stands before the greatest creature that the earth as ever seen. Recovering from the sever knock that he took, Kidd staggers up to his feet, with his rifle in tow. Taking aim, he was about to resume firing at the queen until he heard a scream from Young. Looking towards the general direction where Young is at, he saw the marine being swarmed by the nasty parasites that over came their target. Appearing within the swarm, a different color and slightly bigger than the rest of the drone and warrior xenomorphs that he encountered, Kidd tightly clenches his teeth only to curse under his breath as he knows this is not going to be an easy fight.

"Valk! Forget her! Cover the holes before these monsters cut off our escape!" ordered Kidd as he looks down at the counter of the rifle. Seeing that he used more than 50% of his magazine, the soldier takes aim at the swarm. Pumping the grenade launcher, he fires it at the alien horde along with it's leader, followed along with with a stream of armor-peircing, exploding, caselss rounds. Firing another grenade into the group, Kidd takes a knee and reloads his rifle as he waits for any creature to emerge from the small cloud of dust in which he had created.
If the xenomorph, which he assume is a Praetorian of the hive, survives, Kidd only knows one thing and that it is going to be a bad fight between him and it.

Gaunt, Human, 15 years ago

Gaunt was pissed off with Saysell now.
He kicked Gaunt like he was nothing, He had burnt him almost to death and hit him with his shotgun sending him into the wall of the Hive.
Gaunt didn't know if he could move anymore, He felt a horrible burning pain all over his body, As if he was on fire and it wouldn't stop.
Lying on his side he bent his head down to see the rest of his body.
Gaunts body was fucked up, All of his skin had been burned, He was missing three quarters of his tail and had a huge patch of holes on his body from the shotgun shell.
He was leaking acidic blood all over the ground, He felt a light headed.
He looked at the activity all around him, He saw the burnt queen going to attack Saysell and Xeuss.
It looked like he'd have no choice but to retreat and leave the Hive, The ruined city and wait.
Wait and see if we won or lost.
Gaunt would be able to grow back all of his missing tail, And his skin would regenerate in time.
Gaunt crawled through a hole in the Hive wall and scuttled along the ground, Feeling nothing but pain and anger.
He climbed up the nearest building and started to make his way out of the city, Out of the whole war zone to a safe place where he could rest and get ready for anouther war.

FireHunter, Human, 15 years ago

FireHunter let loose a bellow at the pain of his damaged arm, he couldn't move it, and that made him furious.
He charged at Xeuss, knocking him over two feet in the air and a meter back, FireHunter kicked the Pulse Rifle away from Xeuss, then kicked him, then lifted Xeuss up by the collar.
FireHunter roared a mighty bellow, and tossed Xeuss again.
And again.
And again.
FireHunter was ready to rip Xeuss' head off, when Xeuss kicked him in the face.
He recoiled, allowing Xeuss to get up.
FireHunter charged full pelt at Xeuss, who dodged, and FireHunter came to a halt that sent dirt and rocks flying into the air, he turned and grabbed Xeuss by the shoulder, flipped him, and bit down into Xeuss' capable arm, Xeuss replied by delivering a nifty head butt into FireHunter's face, causing FireHunter to drop Xeuss and take a few steps back, Xeuss jumped as high as he could and kicked FireHunter with such force that it cracked the skull, and acid leaked out slightly.
This infuriated FireHunter even more.

x_saysell, Human, 15 years ago

After seeing Kidd's attempts on the queen Saysell realised his chance, as she turned away for the veteran marine Saysell took his chance.
Running up the queen's back with blistering speed and agility, grabbing the tail and the few tubes left on her back as support. Hurling himself upwards using the queens dorsal pipe Saysell quickly grabbed at her semi destroyed crest.
Stabilizing himself as the queen became more and more agitated and began to lash out violently, but Saysell was clever in how he had positioned him self. He was out of reach of her one remaining arm, and any lashes she took with her tail would only land on her tubes. Taking his shotgun into his left hand and holding on with his right,
"Time to die bitch!" Firing the weapon into the flesh connecting the base of her skull to her spine, with a sudden extremely violent outburst the queen span and crashed into a nearby wall.
Smashing Saysell's left arm off the hive wall, he dropped the weapon.
"Ohh shit! Well you aint taking me that easy!" Saysell grimaced with an underlying pain in his voice.
Grabbing for one of his knives, he began to slash and stab into the back of her neck.
"Just die bitch!" Saysell's attacks where now becoming more and more crazed, his arms moving faster, plunging the knife fully into her neck.
Taking a huge risk Saysell released his grip with his right hand and pulled his other knife from its sheath.

Driving the blades fully into the behemoth’s back he held on for his very life.
Her thrashing becoming more and more erratic.
"Come on your highness, surely one such as yourself should have knocked me off before I even go to this point!" Saysell taunted as he used his knives to climb back up to her head.
After a short struggle Saysell reached the base of her crest and plunged both blades into the base of her skull, for the last time...

With a tremendous crash the once mighty queen tumbled to the ground in a pile of blood and flesh, unluckily for Saysell she had landed on his left arm.
"Even in death you are a pain in the arse." Saysell mocked as he pulled himself back to his feet, and popped his shoulder back into place
"Fuck" he grimaced as he realised just how badly his arm was damaged.

Looking around he realised they would soon need a quick exit.
"Melanie, come in this is Saysell. Can you make me a quick exit route form the hive please? Thanks." Saysell spoke politely down the radio as if he hadn’t just had the fight of his life.

DeathWraith, Human, 15 years ago

"GREAT JOB!" Xeuss shouted to Saysell in this free moment that the predalein used to savour the pain in his head. He was in great pain too, but the excitement of the Queen's death made him look very lively still. This was an opportunity. He could now teach the hive how to live without a Queen, they needed no Queen to survive, but not every alpha could understand such things. This predalien, for example, seemed very narrow minded. It based it's attacks on brute force and this was a huge downside, the drones around, the ones that were not following Bloo, were just standing around, watching the fight going on between the two closest dominant specimens, which were him and Firehunter.

Bloo seemed a stronger, more capable leader even than himself, which is why the xenomorphs would have followed him no matter what Xeuss said. If he was to liberate the hive from making other Queens to supress their potential, he would have to gain that one's trust. And now that the Queen was dead that should have been easy. Xeuss always did this to hives, made them see how much stronger they are without needing to protect anyone but themselves. He had hear Yautja call such rogue hives "Shadow Serpents". Hard to find and hard to kill. And speaking of that, Xeuss had met only one other visionary like himself in his travels, a xenomorph called The Wraith. A very old xenomorph and a very big one too. This predalien was nothing compared to him. The Wraith had been the one to teach Xeuss how to correctly communicate with them. He felt a sudden pain in his left leg and then he realised...

...that moment...

...the moment he took for these thoughts...

...for this distraction...

...that moment...

...did not last long enough...

The sheer force with which the predalien's head impacted with his stomach took his breath away and threw him several meters back. His back hit the hard floor and blood forced itself out through his mouth. Xeuss closed his eyes and exhaled slowly, then tried to hold his breath to cope with the pain, but this just made him cough more blood. Trying to breathe normally again he grabbed his pistol, but the pain in his head as he tried to sit up forced him to drop it and fall right back. That was when he realised the strange sensation in his left leg. A strange, unusual wormth around the whole leg... He reached with his still functioning hand to see what it was... But as he touched it the pain overwhelmed him. The greatest pain he had ever felt. Like shoving his hand into an open wound. He looked at it but there was nothing to see. The leg wasn't there.

Xeuss understood then what had happened. The sudden pain had been the predalien's claw burrying deep into his flesh. Grabbing on to it. Then he was thrown away, but... not all of him. The predalien had then fallen to the ground with his leg in it's hand, the force of his own hit affecting him too. But not quite as bad. The drones around them were already slowly approaching Xeuss as if he were prey. He didn't know why it took Firehunter so much to recover, but he didn't care. He had only seconds left of living, so he grabbed the radio and talked into it:

"Saysell, remember what i said about dying, get my body to the ship, don't leave it here for the corporates. Melanie will know what to do after that. And i don't know if i've told you this before, but grab a dead drone too, i'm gonna need new pants. Take care of the clan until i'm back..."

He fealt the life streaming out of his body... as he watched the predalien coming at him for one last blow... The killing blow.

Gene didn't recognize the feeling she had, but soon discovered it had been weightlessness as she was thrown through the air. Her body had tumbled several times as she tried to protect her rifle. Her one lasting reflex action from childhood. She had busted up her shoulder one hunting trip falling down a rocky hill, her father had yelled out to her but she hadn't heard and instead of letting go of an expensive rifle she had cuddled it as her body was flung among some boulders. Her father had found her on her back, with a broken arm and many serious bruises but to find the only minorly scratched rifle on her chest.

Now as Gene impacted with one of the hive walls a sharp scream escaped her lungs by accident. The air rushing out from her chest before she could stop it. Her head hit the wall after her shoulder did and she fell forward crumpled and in pain. Her senses were distorted by the searing pain she felt in her neck and shoulder region. It felt like glass, burning with every movement of her joint and muscles. Her face was screwed up tight as she breathed in heavily, dropping her rifle softly to grab her arm. Taking a moment to compose herself she could have been picked off easily, but instead the majority of Xenomorphs seemed to be distracted as well by the death of their queen. At least something had worked today.

"Harrows, get yourself out of here..." she said weakly standing up. "I'm bringing a whole lot of hurt down on this place ASAP" Removing something from her pocket, licking her bloodied lip as she did so Gene took out the remote detonator to the building within a block distance of the Hive. Opening the cover she looked for one second at the red button before pressing it. The building that Carmine had wired ignited, the explosives detonating and leveling the building. Dropping the remote as the vibrations swept through the place and the dust softly shifted from the ceiling Gene picked up her rifle and took a knee.

"Everyone get out of here, I'm calling in the air strike, the queen has been taken down, now lets clear up the rest" Gene announced over the friendly channel that had been handed out. Announcing her plans to AD, DBO and W-Y members alike. It had been Malus's plan all along to get a GPS position on the Hive and level it from the sky.

"This is Gene Wells, request immediate air strike on my position, lock in coordinates now and fire on that position in fifteen minutes. We are to the south of the leveled building for visual confirmation. Below surface target, immediate priority!" she announced, her body getting an adrenaline surge as her voice grew more dominating over the situation.

"You have fifteen minutes to secure this Hive and clear the area. Blast radius is at least a few city blocks." She announced to friendlies again, spitting out a mouthful of blood as she did so.

There was an open tunnel behind her still, an escape for anyone that needed it, but a path had to be maintained. Kidd had been doing well covering the exits. Un-clipping a thermite grenade Gene pulled the pin and tossed it down the tunnel to clear out any unfriendly creatures waiting to pounce and moved to the side to avoid the blast. Lifting her rifle to her shoulder the pain seared at the joint as she aimed and fired, semi-automatic rail gun fire penetrated xenomorph hides closest to her, she had lost sight of War otherwise he would have been first. The carcasses exploded, the rail gun the same as old style .50 cal damage and the blast passed through and hit others. Spinning in a slow horizontal arc Gene continued to fire until her magazine was empty. Dropping the magazine to the ground Gene pushed a new one from her ammunition pouches into place. Ready to fire again. She had a feeling she wasn't going to make it out of this one alive. A deep down gut feeling.

Mark was aching all over. His black BDU's were thrashed and ripped, and after being thrown for the third time today, he was mighty pissed. His helmet was still on his head, and dinted in the back after he had slammed into a concrete pylon. He squinted and grabbed his pulse rifle that was a few feet from him and began to stand. He gripped the rifle, ejected the spent mag, slammed a new one home.

A lone Xeno ran nearby him, scurrying maddeningly with confusion over the death of the Queen. He had almost missed it, but he smirked grimly as he raised his M41A1 and blew the monster to pieces with a short series of bursts. "Suck it! Your bitch is dead!"

He turned as he heard Gene crying out for the people within the place to evacuate the hive. He saw War, but figured that he could get around him and to the hole that Gene had just cleared out. He just needed some finesse to do it. He began to run, crouched, staying along the walls of the chamber and clutching his rifle tightly. He finally neared Carmine's grenade launcher, and picked it up.

He slung his M41A1 over his shoulder and hefted the 'nade launcher to bear. He aimed at War and fired three crumping grenades that were set to explode on impact with the Xeno. No sooner had he squeezed off the last shot, than he got up and began rushing for Gene to get his ass to safety. He turned his torso, fired some shots from his Pulse rifle for good measure behind him at some of the dazed xenomorph drones, and leapt into one of the passages that led out to the sewers, and ultimately, to victory.

Waralien, Human, 15 years ago

War saw the human male run. War knew he couldn't get far. The human was fast. He was faster. War caught up quickly and sunk his tail deep into his shoulder.

The human screamed out in agony. War then tossed him back into the hive center. The human landed on some remaining blood from the other Xenos. He writh in agony as the blood tore into his body. He managed to get away, only to get caught in War's grasp. War lifted him up and thrashed him into the wall.

War allowed the human to fall to the ground. He then turned to the female. Like lightning, War was inches away from her. Almost too close for her to ready her weapon.

Suddenly War had a sharp pain in his back. He turned to see the male holding a pistol, the barrel smoking from a shot just fired. War heard a movement, and more pain struck him. The girl brought her rifle up and shot him.

War allowed his anger to take hold. He grabbed the girl, ignoring the shots from the male, and tossed her into the acid blood. She screamed as it too tore into her.

War never liked a foe to be in pain. He grabbed her and tossed her over to the male. War advanced to them, both enraged at the loss of his Queen and the damage he recieved. He was gonna share his pain to both of them.
