No one knows. If you want a guess, I would say the weapons are connected to the nervous system somehow.

there are mandible triggered controls inside their masks which are connected to the wrist gauntlet controls. They can operate their cloaking, caster & vision modes from these controls. As for their wristblades I'm not entirely sure about that one

I agree with deathdrop the weapons are connected to the nevous system and brain. if anybody remebers in AVP2 the game u can find a little comp, that scientists tried to remove the wrist comp on the pred an he went into a into a type of arrest i cant rember if it was cardiact or neralogical.

Someone posted about the 'lines' on the preds body helping them cloak - that's wrong - the 'lines' are the predators thermal netting mesh that heats their bodies in extreme cold environments.

The back pack hold tech and energy for the cloak and plasma caster, the mesh is conntected to pack and is heated to keep the pred warm and it is also resistant to very high temps aswell. Its in predator cold war

um i know that im just saying it was to help them in cloaking but they changed it in where i got it from.. so yeah i was right if this was a month ago but since it isnt Dave is right
