no offense at all to anyone, especially for your hard work on the script but... do we really need to see another AVP? i mean jesus, the first one was terrible, i think i'd turn my back on aliens if they embarresed themselves by making a follow up. leave the aliens out of this, they were the more successful franchise, give the predators these cheesy films, dont ruin the reputation of the xenomorphs, god damn i hate all the VS trash.

I'm making this script fair and balanced for all races.
For those who want to see big and bad Preds I can guarantee you won't be disappointed.
And for those who want to see the Alien Queen really rip up a pred, read the ending.

avp is like a 70s godzilla film. i enjoy it by skipping all the dialogue and stuff and just watching the fights. and there's just something weird that makes me like it.... i guess i would have HATED it if the preds weren't there. they looked awesome. and it was funny when the first two preds (no disrespect to pred fans) were killed by grid. my predfan brother was saying it was the worst movie ever after celtic died, and i laughed and said "Get ready to pay up! You're losing the bet!".

I have to agree with AVPFREAK there on the whole 'watching the movie only to see the action' thing. I mean, that's the reason I went to see the movie. Please, do you really think I spent my hard-earned money to see *gasp* DIALOGUE? No! All I was interested in was the fight scenes, I put the dialogue times to good use though by going to the bathroom or getting a drink refill.

You have to understand the importance of the dialogue in the movie. Killing is wrong, war is wrong, and it happens in the movie to present its ugly head as something to despise, not enjoy.
Please think about that.

you're right dialogue is very important, its just that some people think that the dialogue in AVP wasn't well written.

Look, I may have sounded hot-headed on my last post but I agree wholeheartedly that the importance of dialogue is to convey a message. I know that war is wrong, I know that senseless killing should not happen, but that's the reason I'm (and many) are attracted to it, because it's not an accepted view in our society. Shielded and discouraged from violence, we seek it in other forms, mainly movies (and/or videogames). That's why I'm tired of movies always conveying the same peace-oriented message, I've heard it 100 times before in 100 different ways. I like my violence.

But I guess that's why dialogue is needed in the AvP or any franchise's movie, to show that humans have a will of their own, that they CAN choose to fight or not (mostly amongst themselves). Predator and Aliens don't have that choice, they HAVE to fight. Dialogue and its message are important and the audience has to understand it on its own, not spoon-fed to us.

yeah i love war in movies unless based on true story. but i seriously despise actual war with actual people dying.

Trust me, there's plenty of gore and violence, and of course I will convey my message in my 100 different ways.

As long as the fights are awesome and the story carries well, im all for it. I just wanna see more aliens and predators fight in new ways. dont get me wrong , it needs a good story, but im just anxious to see claws and wristblades clash again.

i agree on some level, i paid up to go and watch the two creatures duke it out, but, someone tell me what happened there? i blinked for a second and the fights were over?!

so in reality -

*sh!t dialogue (ugly 'mofo' line used yet again)
*sh!t fight scenes (did they even happen?)
*sh!t characters (spud from trainspotting??!!!)
*passable storyline. (plausable)

you can see my point right?
