Yes, I think that too. They are individuals. They usually hunt by themselves even if they belong to a clan. It's understandable that they want to create their own style to differ from each other.

In my opinion the "jap" pred looks alot like the original pred. Personally I don't think their mask indicates rank based on how decorated it is, except for the carvings (symbols) on the elders mask, because celtic's mask was fancier than the elders & he was an unblood, personally I think it is like their signature, each pred customises their mask, y'know?
