Alot of reasons mate, i did film studies at college and i'm really fussy and analitical of films. If the characters and story are a little too unstable i tend to get bored very quickly. There was very little entertainment with the films actual plot and you saw far too much of the predator, there was not much tension. Danny glovers character was very over the top also. I'd rank this film along side alien resurrection, both films had the potential to be so much better,

Are we talking about the first person in the movie to 'die'? And are we talking the special edition or theatrical version of the film?
If it's the special edition then i'd say it was Newts father as he was hugged early on in the movie.
