Did anyone like Alien 3? I mean cause i hated it i thought it destoryed aliens but well..

well the script for alien 5 i saw said that alien 3 and res were just riplys cryo dreams.

they really need another pred movie, its 2 against 4, pred movies are out numbered.

Alien 3 was fantastic, it was one of Ripleys best performances and it kept to the dark feel of the alien movies - it was alien resurrection that destroyed the feel of thr franchise - go watch the special edition of alien 3 - it's awsome.

There's less demand for predator films than there is alien movies. Most of you saw the world wide polling on the official AVP website - the aliens ran away with it.

Yep, i've heard that and i like the idea BUT Ripley hicks and newt are all alot older now and would look ridiculous if they proposed to continue from the end of aliens.

i dont think they should keep continueing characters like they do. If arnie was in pred2 instead of danny, i dont think i would have liked it as much.

Depends - from the end of the special editition of alien res - the earth was in a total mess, who knows what had happened there, maybe the auriga wasn't the only place they were conducting illegal experiments.....

Well, i think if Alien 5 ever gets considered (no hope) then Ripley should finish her role there, and really, they should finish the franchise, too many sequels ruin films.

it would be hard for ripley to start fighting aliens again cos shes on earth no more company to throw her back into fighting there would be little chance of her fighting another alien

I don't think that Alien 3 was all that bad. Although, in my opinion, it did butcher the good idea of having Hicks and Newt survive, it wasn't to bad. I liked that they created a new alien, which established that the aliens retain some characteristics of the host. I guess the idea of a prison world with no guns makes life, and eventual death, more difficult for riply, I think that it's hard enough to fight aliens with guns, let alone without. A major downfall to me was that there was only one alien agian. I loved the fact that Cameron approached Aliens as a war, send in the marines. I think that a better script could easily have been written, however, it was still way above and beyond the hideous joke of a movie that was alien resurrection.
