Has anyone read the original script for Prometheus?

I'm not done reading it yet (I'm on page 52), but I guess it's supposed to be better than what we have now.

From what I remember, it's pretty much the same story, just with more traditional xenos subbed in for the black goo stuff.

Yeah, that's what I'm getting so far... I think the internet hyped it up too much. I'm not done yet, though, I'm still on page 50-something.

Some of it is interesting (the "beluga" alien specifically) but overall, Prometheus hit most of the same beats.
