why dont they give more information about the derelict ship? i mean, why do they make an entire dead space jockey and do nothing in the rest of alien 1 or 2,3,and 4? they could at least let the scene remove if they dont do anything with it in the future...

jeah, thats true. the only thing you can trust is what they say in most of the movies.

the comic was produced by ridley scott (producer of alien for the last time. they are deviating from the original idea but still part of the story of the franchise

The card games and comics are all really way off from the films, they target younger audiences by inventing dozens of new species into the franchise and really, ruin alot for the hardcore fans.

in the card game and comic strips it gives info on these "space jockeys" and theyre not much different from preds theyre like us . they hunt dangerous prey with sophisticated weapons for food. their prey look like sabertooth tigers. and space jockeys are very advanced in tech apparemtly.

so the fans coulnt say they knew everything about the aliens and it keeps the interest in the theme. youre completly right!

That's exactly what the director was trying to do, plus, it keeps the fans interested as we are all still asking the questions - 'where did that ship come from?' And 'Just who are the space Jockies?'

It's all part of the mythos behind the aliens, they were intended to be mysterious. It attracts more fear not knowing about them.
