No it didn't sound like you hated Elysium but I have to point out that they could have used several different themes int he film rather than politics and explosions. It should have been a little more than that, not that it shouldn't have touched on some of those issues but just not so "In your face" about it. As for the explosions.....ok they had their place but that's not what makes the movie.

Walking out of a movie(after buying the overpriced ticket) is pretty bad.
