Are Audio commentary's Canon?

In the behind the scenes for predator 2 they refer to him as Greyback, the idea they explained him being similar to a silverback gorilla. That means he is strong, dominant clan leader. He is the center of the clans attention, making all the decisions, mediating conflicts, determining the movements of the group, leading the others to hunting grounds and taking responsibility for the safety and well-being of the clan.





So is it 50/50 for commentary's to be canon.
