I am trying to sit up my AVP2 on my brothers laptop which is running windows vista and I have tried to download the server patch file from this place to put his game online too. The file keeps comeing up with an error when I go to install it, now I have the same thing file installed on my XP and it works fine. I have also downloaded the alterinitive server that was posted on this site the AJD mod and it works if I host a game but times out when I try to find a game. Any help any can give will be appreated.

Last i heard is that AVP2 Multiplayer didn't work on vista I know my computer cant run it. So if anyone else has something i can't think of anything else of why it wouldnt work, just another point proven that vista sucks balls!

My PC runs AVP2 on Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit. d:

You could try removing AVP2 totally from your computer and reinstalling it as well as the multiplayer patch. Remember you still have to install the official game update patch which can be found at the link below.
