What changes does the mod make to avp2, I've tried a bunch of different modes including the avp movie mod found at avp2files.com, if you could post a link. I still enjoy playing avp2 from time to time.
Try going to planet avp, then go the mod of the week ( its on the left side of the home page) then scroll down till you find AJL Modification click on it and it will have the info for it plus a link to download it.
