A theory...

Think back to when you first saw alien. do you remember the space jockey that looked like a chest burster came out of it? remember how BIG that jockey was? sooo... The jockey's body has been decaying so long it actually began to look as if it were growing of its seat. erosion and decay like that takes a while. now seeing how big that Jockey was... and how big the queen from avp was..... and the alien takes attributes from its host.... what do u think?

The level of decomposition of the Jockey in Alien indicated that it had been dead for thousands of years. AvP takes place a few hundred years before Alien. If you are implying that the queen in AvP was the same alien that killed the Jockey then you are wrong, the timeline doesn't fit.

sorry but pred428 is right,the alien queen was put there LOOONG before the jockey alien space ship crashed landed. remeber that temple was there for THOUSANDS of years not just hundreds... and besides in Aliens the queen was most likely the alien that burst out of the jockey alien and in alien thay were lucky that they didn't run into her.

ahh i see but as i said its just a personal theory and it could be the alien queen out of the books
