Ok, in where the ship is, with wolf, when he was next to the dead pred. I thought, that part was cute, how he moarned for a moment. But, off that for a minute, what is that clear stuff really for?

It seemed to hold the face huggers, which I knew preds, helped on transporting them, and holding htem. But, what does it do? Is it another way of holding information? Or, what?

Probably some kind of nutritional substance to keep the facehuggers alive. It could of had certain chemicals in it that allowed the Wolf to track them.
