Anybody know how the name Yautja came about? I'd like to put it in the script.

as much as i dont want to see another crossover VS movie i wish you good luck in your quest. the Yautja name is as someone already mentioned just a common name for the predator species, predator was just the name given for the film title, though, i'd prefer that term than Yautja as its an adaptation from the comic books which i hate with a passion.

Just finished the final draft. I plan to call an agency I know in hollywood and see if I can't get someone to read it.

Not really sure where it CAME from. I've only read about that name in the paperback books. Its just thier race's name. Like humans or people. Sorry I don't have a better explanation for ya.
BTW, How is the script coming along?

I prefur the race name over the name Hish that came out later on. And I do hope that script is accepted. But what is it about?
