Alien Feeding

i know this is a weird question, but how do aliens eat effectively? their small throats cant eat much more than maybe 2 pounds of meat at a time. It would take hours to eat a single human, and even then, their high metabolism would make it all futile.

Also, something ive never been clear on: do aliens survive on blood or flesh?
