When did Predator start sounding like a lion. In Pred. 1 and 2 predator just had the throte noise?

the first pred film he does kinda roar like a lion at arnie when there squaring off, u also hear through out the film that wakakakaka thing and its normal roar (as heard on the avp2 game)
