Do the Aliens eat?

I have been wondering that for some time. I know it's a stupid question, but really, do they? I mean they have a second jaw and if they could eat, would the food go into the second jaw or something? And if thread like this was already made, sorry. ;)

There have been topics like this already. but not for some time i think. there have been some yes's and no's so it is kinda uncertain. Best if Dave or one of the other mods answers this.

Signiture Topic is right here and on sticky on top of forum, as are the rules.

Others will help answer the question, but many say they don't eat for sustanance, instead they consume to create building material for their Hive. others think they do eat and use Alien3 as an example. you can also look back to look for topics to see what others have said.

They will eat for nutrition and other needs. Not because they want to. This is only on rare occasions, to this day the only known Alien is the running Dog Alien (yes, I put Runner and Dog Alien together) in Alien 3, with some other moments that aren't worth mentioning.
