Acid Resistance

The Combi stick and the sword the AvP preds pull out of their shin armour are resistant to acid, knowing they didn't melt when stabbed into an Alien. But some other weapons are not. The sword is like the wrist blades exept the Wrist Blades aren't resistant, why do you think that is how it is?

or they could be treeted with certan chemicals to mace them resitrant to acids etc etc

the acid proof weapons are carved from the xenomorphs (aliens) chitinous exoskeleton. As seen in AVP, aliens are resistant to their own acidic blood, this means that weapons carved from their bodies would possess the same quality.

The sword attached to their shin was pure metal, same with combi.

the acid proof weapons may look like metal, but they are actually carved from the alien exoskeleton, the preds probably have a way of carving & polishing the bone so that it appeared as metal, although, aliens are meant to be "bio-mechanical" lifeforms anyway, furthermore, aliens' chitinous exoskeleton is stronger than steel, so it wouldn't easily break during a fight, on top of that, the preds probably have a way of treating their weapons to increase their durability

Then why do you think they didn't make the Wristblades and other weapons resissted to acid?
Granite, the Net-Gun would have been hard to do, but hey, if we had to have someone make all our country flags, then they could just let the nonhunting preds make the weapons.
