OK, When Mr. Miller was covered in resin he saw the egg slowly peel open but when the thing opened he reached for Verhieden's gun it took him quite a long time yet the facehugger didn't leap out yet what happened even in Alien when Kane 'studies' the egg it leaped out of it's egg faster and also when the other egg's start peeling open those facehugger's came out faster...

Just because one facehugger leaps out doesn't mean to say they all do.....

yes but kane had his face right over it though.maybe it didnt see mr miller until he fired a few shots?
