QUestion about xenomorphs.

I understand that aliens have the second jaw and everything and what my question is do aliesn eat anything and is there some sort of function that alllows them to open their mouths that big na d finally how does the seocnd jaw counteract with them hunting say they want to catch live prey but have to use their second jaw wat do they do in athat situation?
Trying to liven things up and to get some stuff straight.

They don't really have to eat, and they eat very rarely, The Runner in Alien3 was doing it to grow, I think.. And the second jaw is used for alot of things like what Donut said, mostly to attack and paralyze hosts or enemies lol but im not sure if that's right

aliens dont have to eat anything. the second jaw is used(according to the books) for anything, but usually to kill or paralize the victim. i wouldnt go by the books unless i was sure of it though, so i'd ask dave :3
