I'm with Muf on this one, it doesn't work for me to put more humane features on aliens to make it to look like a bad @ss when in fact that thing was just a huge slimeball with big eyes. I love the aliens as they are, unknown species, it adds all the mystery around them and that's what makes them scary. And then this giant turd came and spoiled the whole great series.

Worst thing of Alien rez. It was just a freak albino baby that should have never been made.

well, maybe someone has already addressed this issue, but i only read the first 3 posts.
Shadowatching, at times i believe you were supposed to believe it was a poor creature that was misunderstood, and then it would show power beyond its possible build, attempting a dramatic effect, but it failed. miserably.
and i think that looking at the ripley copies in those containers, there was one human with and alien tail and head, i liked that one the most.
yet again these are only my thoughts and opinions

Why not? It's not like its going to be in the rest of the movies. Its a one timer kind of thing. I thought it was kool while it lasted.

The only remorse I feel for it's death is that it didn't come sooner. It shouldn't have been able to leave that long. The queen should've crushed it.

Why so many people get squeamish during the Newborn's death scene I have no idea. I was sitting there laughing my ass off going "Die, you ugly piece of crap!!!".
