Clan Vs. Clan RPG: The Falling Sky
Crow
2007-01-16 21:53:46
Millions of light years away, some time in the distant future... Miles upon miles of cracked soil and drifting sand caked the dry, barren surface of the dead planet Derrarus. Its surface, having been laid to waste by the merciless rays of the two red giants whom lazily swung around one another in their dwindling waltz to extinction, bore no food, no water, and no life... Instead, beneath the artificial gases which had been delivered to this barren wasteland from the heavens, amidst the occasional wreckage of the once-great space probes and colonies of both human and extraterrestrial origin, there lay nothing more than a thick layer of poisonous gas, so lethal that even the most hardy of beasts fell to its unforgiving grasp in a matter of seconds... But above this planet, beyond the deadly mist and desolate artifacts, a glimmer of activity stirred. Thousands of feet away from the dismal orange sea of sand and shale, a technological masterpiece silently drifted across the oxygen-rich sky, its movement dictated solely by the polar magnetism of the planet below. Its body a mass of glittering buildings and golden crops, the floating colony NX-72 was one of the most advanced human outposts of its time...housing well over a thousand civilians, it remained entirely self-sufficient in its functionality, the solar panel-covered buildings powering both its means of levitation and the cooling units that saved its inhabitants from the scorching rays which bombarded their homes every passing day. Countless skywalks linked the towering silver buildings of NX-72 together, their glass and steel encasements providing not only a cooler means of moving about, but also ample shade for those whom still preferred to walk the city streets...it was on these that Lieutenant Kidd, commanding officer of the marine corps on NX-72, preferred to spend most of his time, gazing out at this wonderful city and the people he had sworn an oath to protect... On most colonies such as this, marines weren't necessary, but here on Derrarus, they were essential. Here on Derrarus, a planet of isolation and desiccation, the humans were not here to terraform, but to mine. Here on Derrarus, the dead soil had forfeited its secrets to human technology, revealing to them an entire planet of minerals with untold importance and value... But, like most great treasures, this one hid an even greater danger... As the suns sank low in the sky and announced the finality of their rays at the end of yet another day, a convoy of miners arrived beneath NX-72, their tank-like vehicles coming to a halt and flashing brilliant red beacons to the city above as they radioed in a request to board...they were two days ahead of schedule, but not because they had found success. What they had found instead was disaster... That night, two miners were rushed into the outpost's emergency room, their protective masks having been shattered by an unknown creature... Elsewhere, two small children sat atop a massive white metal drum labeled "Ethanol," the golden corn fields around them gently rustling as a warm thermal drifted up and across the city. In these few minutes, just after the sun set but before the city's lights flared to life, the stars painted the sky...as they gazed up into the cosmos, one of the children pointed with glee as a shooting star streaked across the night sky, its angle suddenly changing halfway through its path before fading out of existence directly overhead. One of the children, a small girl, closed her eyes and made a wish, a small smile painted on her lips... Silently drifting the depths of space, a yautja vessel floated over the planet Derrarus. Within its winding hallways and intricately carved rooms the menacing, muscular figures of the Balatu clan moved about, their intricate faces all bearing the same perpetual scowl...someone had invaded one of their many holy lands, kept sacred for its historical significance and merit. As they prepared themselves and plotted out their attack, they left their self-destruct devices behind: to damage their sacred grounds was heresy. They all knew their mission, it had been engraved in their teachings since birth: eliminate all intruders. In one week's time, the colony of Derrarus had been put under lockdown. The creatures had swept through the hospital and it's three interconnecting buildings like a plague, their shimmering fangs and ebony hides leaping from the nightmares of man, woman, and child alike...the only way to stop them was to seal all exits to the complex, the steel airtight doors which barred the skywalks and doors to the streets serving as the only barrier between the humans and these horrible beasts. Marines had been positioned all around the perimeter, their eyes still nervously flitting about the outside of the buildings as screeches and screams unlike anything they had ever heard managed to resonate into the outside world... All civilians trapped inside were assumed to be dead... Lieutenant Kidd stood in silence on one of the skywalks outside of the sealed area, his eyes scanning the bulletproof glass windows of the hospital and its sister buildings for signs of activity...the creatures had managed to cut the lights in all four buildings now, making their activities at night, such as now, extremely difficult to monitor...however, just as he glanced over to see Second Lieutenant Hyro return from his own rounds, something new caught his eye...an ebony xenomorph, its body much leaner and more feline than the previous ones he had witnessed, padded out onto one of the skywalks. "Great...." Kidd muttered as the creature swerved its domed head and sightlessly stared at him, "They've gotten into the animal research facility..." The entire situation was a powder keg -- if they were using the humans to increase their number, and he suspected they were, then his marines were in danger...it was only a matter of time before these creatures decided to expand... "And I thought it was bad when they got into the elementary school..." Meanwhile, the yautja ship flared with activity as several drop pods launched from the immense vessel. Death was whispered in their prayers, and destruction shone on their blades...the Balatu clan had been insulted beyond repair, and the intruders would pay in blood...

Mishmuf

Yautja
Amongst the many pods dropping to the planet's surface, one alone held the unblooded Yautja known as Mishmuf. Mishmuf was nervous. Not only would this be his first major hunt, but this would also be a purging of filth on sacred land. He would have to be fierce, cunning, and powerful if he wanted to survive. Mishmuf would also have to be brave. Something he never was good at doing. In every hunt he been on, he always was overwhelmed with great fear, and this hunt was no different. Mishmuf inhaled deeply, hoping any anxiety or fear he had would be blown out when exhaled. Nothing changed. He was still as nervous as ever, and even worse, his pod was about to land. Realizing that the ship was about to reach it's landing point -a remote region within the colony- Mishmuf flipped a switch within the landing pod. Tiny engines on the botton of the pod turned on and the pod landed smoothly. With a hiss, the pod's door opened, and Mishmuf relucently got out of the pod and awaited his clan brothers. *sigh* If only I was witty enough to think of something to say here.

The state of things could never be worse, not only was there chaos, but there was blood on Hyro’s hands. There were things he could have done, things he could have prevented. If only he had been able to contain the problem sooner, these monster’s of midnight black, these xenomorphs would not have spread to the children’s school. Human life was essential, human life was all that mattered, human life was worth dieing for, yet he failed so many lives already. Yet Hyro pushed forward, he may have failed some, but he would not fail all. It was his mission, his purgative, his “codingâ€, to make sure these colonists lived. Hyro patrolled the skywalks above a ruined section of the city, at least the threat had been contained to this small area and the rest of the colony was safe. Well as safe as the could possibly be anyways, not only were these monster contained in the infected area by blast doors etc… they were also contained within a larger area bustling with marines. These men and women would fight for their lives, and lives beyond the walls. This was their home they would not let anyone take it. Sadly the situation was only getting worse and worse. These beasts were as clever as they were dangerous, and you never could tell when one of these bugs would find an open vent and just pop on you… Hyro continued to walk, watch and listen for anything out of the ordinary. Strangely enough it had been a calm night which was unusual. The past few nights Hyro would constantly hear the xenomorphs trashing and clawing at the doors, trying to tear their way through, only to scream with frustration. Yet there was nothing tonight it was out of the norm, had they given up? Were they biding their time? Or could the beasts possibly be smart enough to be formulating a plan? What ever it was he wanted commander’s opinion. Hyro sighted Kidd and the distance staring at the ruined hospital, he assumed Kidd felt the same way about the colonists as he felt. As Hyro continued to walk toward him, Kidd hearing his footstep turned to greet him, what once was a sly grin on his face, turned into the look of dire warning. It was at that time Hyro heard a hiss behind his head… What happened next only took place in an instant, yet it felt like an eternity to Hyro. Hyro instinctively reached for his pistol on his belt and fell to his right. As Hyro fell he felt excruciating pain as his ear was torn of by a miniature extended mouth. Had he shifted his weight one second later, there would be a rather large hole in Hyro’s head. As he turned to fire on the beast, he finally saw what they truly were. This bug of metallic black, glistening with reflections of light on its mucus covered body, tail extended, claws raised, maw open… And then, an explosion of blood burst forth from the creature skull, and it fell dead. Kidd lowered his pistol, and walked toward Hyro to help him up. “Looks like I save you life once again my friend†Kidd said with a sly grin. Hyro returned the comment with a smirk as he clutched the hole in witch his ear once was. “Alright let me see the damage†Kidd returned. As Hyro removed his and white tissue fluid flowed. With a prodding by Kidd, Hyro burst out “hey watch what you’re doing bub, that hurts you know!†Kidd was taken back, and he immediately responded. “I didn’t know you synths, felt pain…†Hyro simply replied, “Oh, I’m the whole package, pain receptors, sex drive, “emotions, it’s supposed to make me more human, more bearable to work with.†“Oh great now I have a toaster as F***ed up as I am…†Kidd replied "He who fights monsters should see to it that in the process, he does not become a monster." ~Nietzche

----orbiting Derrarus ---- the elder had awoken from the induced sleep quite some time before the rest of the clan. he stood firm and proud looking out towards the stars through one of the obsevation windows. looking out into the black sky of the heavens, his eyes were open but his mind was closed within it's self. the insult of the invaders on their holy land was enraging and thats why he was closing his mind, pushing the anger back, storing it for when it was needed. for when anger was needed to be let loose. some time passed before he heard the distant sound of Stalker's cryo unit open and the thumping of his footsteps on the cold floor. he could tell it was Stalker because of the pattern of the footsteps. the elder turned himself away from the dark sky and started to walk down the hallway to collect his weapons and meet his brothers. ---- before launch ---- the elder walked up and down in front of his clansmen, he stopped at the end of the line and saw that all were ready. the elder let out a great roar of commandment and the clan followed letting out their roar of anger and they each made their way to their pods as the hunt began. are you predator or prey? http://xiv-movie.tripod.com/

Stalker
2007-01-16 23:54:26
...Several minutes prior to launch... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The eyes of the warrior began to part, the creature was awakening. Dreadlocks swayed around it's massive head as it attempted to gather it's bearings. Reaching forth it's clawed hand, it touched the controls of it's cryo-sleep chamber. A loud fizz echoed through it's small, reptilian ears as the chamber was ventilated of the sleep inducing chemicals which had kept the creature dormant. The latches on the door popped open as the door raised out & retracted, bathing the once pitch black chamber in the beaming orange light from the outside corridor. Vapours swirled around the chamber as the creature lifted itself from it's cryo-bed. A grunt punctuated the relative silence as it hauled itself to it's feet. Claws tapped against the metal floor as it pulled itself through the chamber door. Carvings decorated the walls along the extended hallway, & a thick atmospheric mist lingered just above the floor. A proud grin beamed across the creature's scarred face as it stared at the history of it's mighty brethren etched across the walls. Chatter echoed from down the hall, catching the creature's attention. It's massive form turned towards the source of the sounds, trudging down the ghastly winding corridor to investigate. The clank of footsteps echoed down the corridor, the creature intended to make it's prescense felt. Snarls of anticipation & excitement beamed from up ahead as the mighty God of Death made his entrance. Setting foot inside the weapons storage of the Balatu clan ship, Stalker gazed upon his brethren preparing for the upcoming journey of salvation & vengeance. The clan's sacred land had been invaded, & the time had come to take it back with full force & brutality. A menacing laugh erupted from Stalker's throat, "We shall spill the blood of those who have defiled our holy sanctuary, have no mercy on their souls" he bellowed. An uproarious cheer echoed from the rest of Balatu. For a few of the youngsters, this would be their first time fighting alongside the infamous Gods of Death, & the excitement at the thought of their enemies' bloodshed had reached boiling point. The doctor would lead the rest of the hunters to the colony's surface shortly, while Stalker would go on ahead, prior to the majority of the clan's departure. With a gutteral growl, the mighty hunter fixed his mask firmly to his face. Clamping his armour over his chest & tightly securing his weapons, he slowly made his way to the drop pod launch bay to embark on Balatu's vengeful reign, now was the time to strike..... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...Present time... Metal splintered like glass as the drop pod slammed into the surface of the colony with incredible force. Stalker had landed on the outskirts of the colony, his drop pod crashing amongst several buildings near the protective outer wall, seperating the edge of the colony's being from the tremendous plummet to the surface of Derrarus below. This was not a hunt for prey, this was about vengeance, the invaders needed to be wiped from their sacred land at all costs. The doors to Stalker's drop pod slowly slid open as the moonlight beamed across his face. His massive form pried itself from the pod as he stared up into the night sky. The pods of his clan mates could be seen hurtling down towards the colony, punctuating the black sky with powerful beams of light. The journey to reclaim their holy sanctuary had begun....

navyspaz
2007-01-17 00:22:03
Navyspaz was a small, frightened xenomorph, Still in its Facehugger stage. He had followed other Xenomorphs into the Colony. But has taking cover. He hears many humans running in fear through the dark corridors. And blood curtling screams. And noises of thrashing through flesh. Navyspaz made a slight garbling noise, as he saw a human stumble into the same room as him, He slowly crawled forward, out from under a desk, he was taking cover under. And peaked, looking at the terrified human, unarmed, and one of his arms severly damaged. As he was holding it, and blood dripping. He then heard loud, footsteps thumping the ground, and a hiss, Navy backed up under the desk, and stayed quiet, waiting to see what was about to happen. And coming down through the door was a fellow Xenomorph. It stood up high on his back legs. and hissed looking toward the wounded human, the human screamed, and jumped up trying to pick up a chair as a weapon, but he was too weak, and wounded, he was then slammed against the wall by the Xenomorphs tail, the human moaned while on the ground, and was out of breath. The Xeno then leaned over and hissed toward the Humans head, The human then started to cry. Navy crawled out and garbled, The xeno looked toward Navy, as he crawled toward the human up to his face. Then, the Xenomorph saw that Navy was about to impregnate this wounded human, So the Xenomorph backed up and continued through the building, As he saw a person run down the corridor from other xenomorphs and go inside a nearby room. Navy walked closer to the human, he started to shake. And as soon as Navy was getting ready to pounce, the man reached backward really quickly, and pulled out one of the legs off the chair he dropped from getting hit., Navy pounced forward but the man held it infront of his face, knowing what Navy is, and what he was about to do. He then hit Navy really hard, once in the back, stunning him. He then tripped, while getting up, and started to run as fast as he can out of the room, then around the corner down the corridor. Navy rolled over on his legs, and watched the man turn down another hallway, He then quickly followed him. After several minutes of searching, Navy was becoming impatient. And then heard another scream, toward the direction where he was traveling. he then saw 2 men come around the corner running as fast as they can, A Xenomorph then fell from the roof, Knocking one of them to their stomach, the other continued running. As this xenomorph attacked this current one. He then grabbed onto the mans back, he yelled in pain. And the Xeno started slashing the man, and then used his inner jaw, and ended it. The mans head fell to the ground, with blood pouring out of his wound in the back of his head. Navy was uninterested, he continued to follow the other man, through the building complex. .::FORUM RULES & RPG INFORMATION::.

Kidd
2007-01-17 13:28:29
Taking care of the injury that Hyro recieved, Kidd stood beside his wounded friend, dispite his artificial being, the human cared for his men, no matter where they came or who or what they are, for they all were part of a unit. Using what he had learned in First Aid class, Kidd bandages the ear, trying not to impair Hyro's hearing the best he could, and succeeded to a certain degree. Nodding in his own approval of his work, the marine looked up at the buildings, standing up to his six feet two inches height, he scans the buildings for any signs of movement with his brown eyes, wondering what these creatures are up to. Taking his M10 Ballistic Helmet in hand, the marine puts it on his head, covering his summer short cut brown hair. Wearing nothing but the marine combat equipment, comprising of the M3 Personal Armor, complete with shin-guards, the human seems to be fully protected, but for his arms and thighs, they were vulnerble to bullets, shrapnel and any other foriegn objects that can do great harm to the wearer. Grabbing his left wrist with his right hand, the young man rubs it with his thumb, the friction causing heat to generate on the joint of his forearm and hand. Glancing down at his glove covered hands, the marine stares at one of his fingers, for underneath the leather of the glove is a golden band, remembering the unforgettable events he had on earth. Suddenly, a loud scream was heard from within the buildings, causing Kidd to snap back into reality to see what is going on. Seeing nothing in sight, Kidd turns, giving an order to his second in command,"Hyro, get a section ready. I think, I have an idea to put an end to this terror." As the marine turned away, he heads to the barracks ready to plan the mission to put down this infestation.

donut
2007-01-17 19:42:35
Donut softly padded her way through the silenced corridors of an alien-infested building, her taloned feet making a small "clack" as they met the floor. Her sapphire colored flesh barely visible in the black shadows that smothered the building from within. Her sapphire lips dripped with saliva, as well as the blood from her recent meal, who knew children tasted like delicious fried chicken? o3o Her hazardous tails swayed gently behind her as she continued to walk these alien claimed hallways, her blue flesh giving off a hazy glow as she passed by one of the building windows, the lights from outside slightly piercing the darkness that layed within..but only moments after passing this window and returning to the shadows, Donut came to a halt. Her smooth elongated head slightly rose and cocked itself to one side as a quiet chortling sound escaped her wet lips. She had recieved a scent... a familiar scent... Donut began to move again, this time a bit quicker, her muscles rippling below her flesh as her pace increased, the smell getting stronger and more recognizable every turn she took through the hallways untill she finaly realized who gave off this particular scent..it was one of her kin :3 Soon Donut found herself rushing through these hallways, her kin's scent growing ever so strongly as she came to the end of a corridor, and it was here where she encountered a very particular thing o3o She had never left the building, so this lighted, strange walkway was new to her, however her curiousity was quickly broken as she "spotted" Crow :3 A trill pierced the silence as Donut lept over to crow. x3 ~i draw things...it is delicious~ ~first female on teh site! w00t w00t!~ I ARE A XENOMORPH! Stalker
2007-01-17 19:45:44
A gutteral growl rumbled from Stalker's throat as several drop pods slammed into the surface of NX-72. Metal & debris scattered as they ploughed headlong into the colony to make their landings. A bright beam of light illuminated the night sky as one of the pods came hurtling down at tremendous speed, slamming straight into one of the buildings. The incredible impact sent tremors rumbling through the ground, & massive chunks of metal violently scattered in all directions as the pod buried itself deep into the structure of what remained of the building's upper floors. The battle had yet to begin, & the area was already undiscernable from a war zone. Blue sparks showered over Stalker's body as his cloak fizzled into life, camouflaging him seamlessly against the surrounding area. Turning to the nearest building, the mighty hunter leaped into the air, latching onto the small grooves in the metal surface with his clawed fingers. Using his powerful legs, he propelled himself upwards, grabbing onto windowsill ledges & pulling himself towards the building's rooftop. Scaled fingers latched over the edge of the rooftop as Stalker hoisted his menacing form to the top of the building. Staring out over the expanse of NX-72, Stalker felt disgusted. These pitiful humans had defiled their sacred land with this hideous technology & way of life, & would pay dearly with their blood. With one fluid movement, Stalker leapt from the rooftop, bounding with effortless ease to the next building. Scanning the streets, the mighty hunter found almost no signs of life. The immediate area was void of activity. There were no bodies to be seen, nor any evidence of a battle, the civilians must have been holed up inside one of the more protected buildings. Although why the entire colony had seemingly gone into hiding was a complete mystery, there was no way they could have possibly detected the arrival of the clan so quickly, so there must have been another reason for their fears. Suddenly, chatter echoed from the streets up ahead. Stalker's head propped up as the sounds caught his attention, with a smirk on his face, he set out to discover their source.....

Crow
2007-01-17 20:28:19
Crow sat in silence as he blindly gazed at the two humans who had just struck down one of his kin, the light-sensitive patches of flesh on his body clearly and vividly painting the scene of the attack and defeat which had occurred before him... Though he had been recently spawned, and knew nothing of his deceased brethren, his lips had curled in disgust and hatred as they struck his sibling all the same...for Crow, as well as all xenomorphs, family came first... Sneering in disgust as one of the humans tended to the other's wounds, Crow began to pace up and down the length of the skyway, the lights from the outside world dancing across his flesh, rippling as the muscules beneath his ebony hide tensed and eased with his movement. He continued to silently pace as one of the humans turned and walked out of his line of vision, leaving the other human, who, unbeknownst to Crow, happened to be a synthetic andriod and not a human at all, to turn back and gaze directly at him, his expression as unwavering as his stare. After a while Crow ceased to pace, his slender figure entering a feline-like crouch as he firmly planted his taloned hands between his thighs and stared directly at Hyro, a translucent trail of saliva dripping down between his fingers from his bared teeth... It was then that Donut trilled and leapt out of the corridor and into the skywalk, causing the xenomorph's focus to break and his head to snap in her direction. The sapphire xenomorph had leapt close, and finished covering the last few feet between then as Crow rose to stand on his four lean, muscular legs. Her head moving close to his flank and drifting towards his face, Donut breathed in, taking the surrounding air and his pheromones into her body and running them through her olfactory senses before exhaling in a slow, long hiss. At the same time, Crow breathed in as he ran his own head across her body, taking in her pheromones and identifying her as being one of his brethren and, more importantly, female. Finishing his breath, Crow let out a shorter, more emphatic hiss in response before leaning in and sliding his smooth, domed head against the sloping cranium belonging to the xenomorph whom he now knew to be Donut. The feeling of attraction between them was mutual. After a couple moments, Donut turned and padded her way back into the corridor as Crow turned his head to face Hyro once again. However, Donut stopped upon re-entering the shade of the building's interior and turned to face Crow, issuing a low hiss as she beckoned him to follow. Sightlessly staring at Hyro for a few seconds, Crow finally broke their wordless confrontation as he turned and returned to his shadow-ridden domain, moving alongside his potential mate as he slipped out of second lieutenant Hyro's sight...

Kidd
2007-01-18 16:20:14
Heading towards the barracks, Kidd sees two of marines, who seems to not know their orders, the marine marches up to them. Seeing the officer heading their way, the two young marines salute, showing their respect to him for his rank. Returning the salute, the leiutenant stands before the two, gazing at them both seeing that they are both new, Kidd speaks,"Why aren't you two at your positions?" One of the marines responded, telling the officer that most of the positions that are securing the three buildings are taken by well rested marines. Acknowledging the problem, Kidd raises his hand and gestures them to follow him as he says,"Come, I need some volunteers for a task." Both the young marines salutes and follows Kidd as he walks to an area of the complex where the planning is taking place. Little while after they entered the building, soldiers begin to fill the room where the three marines waited. Some of these soldiers who walked in were already geared up for the task, having their M41A1 Pulse Rifles slung over their shoulders as other were only in their battledress ultilities and a VP70 pistol harnessed to their leg, all were ready to get on with the breifing that the officer about to tell out to them. As soon as Hyro entered the building, he looks over at the human being and gave him a nod, signalling him to start the breifing, and the marine began,"Ok men, you all know we have a problem here. It seems that all the barricades that we and the civilians set up as we fled the buildings are holding out better than we thought." The marines in the room responded with their famous hoo-rah reply, knowing that the plan to quarintine the threat was a success, but they were quickly silenced as Kidd raised his hand, and he continues,"But we have a problem. For the past few days, these 'things' are finding ways to try and escape the pen that we made for them. As you may have heard, there have been a few attacks outside the area of operations." A murmur rose from the marines as they frown and clench their fists, hating to hear this type of news, knowing that if they start to pour out of this openning, they will over run the city. Waiting for the murmur to die down, Kidd sighs and tells the soldiers his plan,"Today, I've seen a few of those creatures trying to enter the school, and this is where we come in. We'll enter the school, even though we don't know how many are in there, we go in and stop them from spreading any further. The school will be the place where we teach them that the area is off limits. If we are successful in holding the school, we will make our way into the next building but not without setting explosives on the walk way that connects the two buildings together. We will use the School as an Alamo, so when they start pushing us back, we will retreat to the school and as they cross the walkway, we'll destroy it, cutting them off from the school and keeping them trap in the two buildings, but, if we are successful in eradicating those insects in the second building, all we'll have to do is retake the hospital, but we will still plant remote bombs on the walkways, so if we fail, we cut keep them in a much smaller place. Now, when we enter the hospital, don't expect it to be something that you are familiar with for these monsters might have done some redecorating of their own. In this building, we may encounter the dominant female of the group, and I do recommend you all to exercise extreme caution when you are around her, for she'll be a one pissed off momma when we get around her." After telling them the rest of the plan on what to do with the queen, Kidd steps back and asks if there were any questions. Few marines raised their hands, and Kidd answered their questions the best he could. After the briefing, the leuitenant orders the marines to prepare themselves for the mission, for it will be on this very day that they will stop this bug problem here. Following the marines into the Armory to get the proper equipment for the task, Kidd takes a M41A1 Pulse Rifle from the rack and turns to see one of the younger marines that h met earlier in the day, putting on his armor. Walking over to the private, the officer shoves the rifle into the boy's chest as he grabs it and speaks,"Rayne, you take this. We will need some good riflemen in there and you will be one of those good riflemen, all you have to do is follow my orders and carry those orders out to the very letter, you get me?" Rayne replies with a low hoo-rah, only to yell it for Kidd didn't hear him. Returning to where he was, the officer grabs another rifle, slunging it over his shoulder, he grabs some extra ammo and a few grenades for the rifle to fire. After preparing themselves, Kidd orders all his men out of the armory on the double, ordering them to form up in front of the school. Reminding the soldiers to exercise extreme caution, the unit moves towards the building, not knowing what they will meet or see inside...

Stalker
2007-01-18 17:57:53
A menacing form bounded across the rooftops of NX-72 as Stalker closed in on his goal. Dust kicked up as the mighty hunter's powerful form landed atop the nearest building. His massive head swooped from side to side as he scanned the streets like a hawk out for blood. Suddenly, the relative calm was broken. Stalker turned his head to investigate, his mask zooming in on the source of the disturbance. Further down the street, a band of marines had gathered, & were apparently gearing up for a mission. A sole commander stood to face the rest of the troops. He shouted up a storm, riling up his squad mates into a combat-ready state. "Marines, we are going to go in there & kick seven shades of shit out of those slimy bastards, ARE YOU READY!!??", "YES, SIR!" they chanted in unisen, eagre & ready for battle. The fact that the human military had already been deployed puzzled Stalker as he watched on. The clan had not long made their landing, although strangely, the marines looked like they were already out in force & highly prepared for combat. Stalker turned his attentions back to the marine standing at the head of the group. This was a human who he recognised. Known by his squadmates as Kidd Junior, he was the alpha male of the pack, one whose skull would make a worthy addition to the fearsome hunter's trophy collection. Another familiar face stood out in the group, the apparent second in command, known only by his nickname, "Hyro". Stalker's wrist computer flipped open as he sent an encrypted message to his clan brothers. The blood of their foes would soon be spilt, & the sacred land would be free of this scum once more. Turning to his second in command, Kidd began to divulge the battle tactics for their squad. "Hyro, I need you, Dom, Gail & Rickson to provide us covering fire as we advance", "Yes, sir", he sharply replied. "Ok troops, let's move!" Kidd exclaimed. Unknown to the band of human warriors, they were merely puppets in the grip of a clan of nightmarish killers. Silent, invisible, invincible. The creatures had begun their hunt.....
