Yautja - Balatu
For centuries, humans have always longed to solve the unsolved mysteries of the galaxy. During aeons past they have always pushed themselves to do what no-one else had done, to discover what no-one else had found, & to be where no-one else had been. A routine investigation of a strange radar signal in the year 2245 would indeed prove how deadly the curiosity of the human mind can be, & has led to the discovery of something nobody ever thought existed- the bleeding star.....

August 24, 2245-

A large mass of hulking metal drifted through the great black void of space. It's seemingly effortless movement was only matched by it's sheer size. A stream of electricity clouded the object, blending it in seamlessly with it's surroundings. Suddenly, white hot flames fired from the object's thruster, launching it at incredible speed through the vast reaches of space. Lights beamed from inside the hulking mass, as it's engines cooled & it once again began slowly to drift. Onboard the foreign ship, a mighty race of creatures dwelled, every hallway was littered with them, they walked upright, such as a human, but were almost nothing akin to them. These creatures were fierce hunters, & would stop at nothing to find & claim the skulls of honourable prey.

At the present time though, they seemed disinterested in their tradition, rather preferring to reminisce of great hunts passed & worthy kills claimed. Several of the hunters bypassed each other in the ship's main corridor. They were each from rival clans, although for the moment, that was not an issue, as there was no hunt under-way to compete over. Each of them bowed their heads as a respect to one-another, something they weren't used to doing to a rival clan member.

Nearby, a second ship drifted into view. Much different & technically far inferior to the ship of the mighty hunters. The so-called "hairless primates" known as humans were the inhabitants of this particular vessel, dubbed "Darksiege II". Onboard the ship, scientists went about their duties, guards patrolled, & special visitors to the ship, an elite squad of marines known as Alpha Draconis settled down for a drink. This had been their first mission in quite some time, & since much of their old squadmates had been butchered by an unknown force in their last one, they were feeling somewhat uneasy.

The ranking commander, nicknamed "Hyro", was somewhat on edge. Walking over & sitting down at the table next to one of his squadmates, Kidd, he muttered "it just feels like there's some kind of curse upon our heads y'know? ever since we signed up for this mission I haven't felt quite right", Kidd turned to face him "maybe you just need to lie down, you don't look well", "that won't do me any good", Hyro responded "funny how I'm the commander & I'm the one whose nervous, somewhat ironic don't you think?". "Let's change the subject" Kidd replied, staring out of the airtight window, he said "y'know, I've heard that ships disappear around here", Hyro responded with a ghostly shiver, mocking Kidd's "horror story". "I'm not joking" Kidd replied, come & take a look.

Hyro hoisted himself out of his chair, grabbing his beer from the table. "What is it?" he asked. Kidd pointed out the window to a nearby planet "it's said that ships have passed by that area, & haven't returned, as though they've simply disappeared", "pah, foolish ghost stories" Hyro murmured, gulping down a big mouthful of his beer & slumping back into his chair.

Nearby, the hunters' ship remained undetected, their superior technology keeping them concealed from the humans. They were not interested in a fight, & carried on about their business. In the main clan hall of the ship, where all clan members could come together & enjoy themselves, the hunters were telling their own tales. One of them leapt up, boasting about how he killed a dozen hard meat with only his wristblades, another jumped up to talk about how he slew a hybrid with his bare hands, the room was alive with chatter.

Suddenly, the ship went dark & silent. Not only had the lights failed, but the engine wasn't responding either. Although the Hunters' infra-red vision allowed them to see clearly, even in darkness, the engine cutting out was still a concearn. Suddenly, the ship's inertia shifted, & the crowd of hunters was thrown to the floor, something was seriously wrong. The ship lurched forth again as the passengers were hurled against the wall. The ship was in desperate trouble. The nearby planet seemingly raced closer & closer as the out of control ship hurtled towards it. All of their systems had been struck down by an unknown force, & they were going down.

Nearby, the Darksiege II's crew became startled. A blip appeared on their radar as if out of thin air, & it was heading for the nearby planet at a tremendous speed. "I could've sworn it wasn't there a second ago, what should we do?" asked one of the crew. "We've got to go & investigate, there might be people who need help" shouted the pilot. His voice boomed over the ship's loudspeaker "we will be experiencing a time delay, for those of you who have an urgent job to get to, I apologize, but this is a potentially critical situation". The ship's thrusters fired into life as it blasted towards the unknown planet. As they neared, one of the crewmen shouted "what the hell is that? it doesnt look like any ship I've ever seen", "I don't know, but I guess we're gonna find out" the pilot remarked.

The hunters ship was out of control, hurtling end over end, the passengers being thrown around like ragdolls inside. Suddenly, all seemed to go quiet, everything was at peace...... *SMASH*, the ship collided with the planet, it's sharp, jagged rock structures tearing through it's unshielded hull like a knife through butter. Passengers were thrown everywhere, & flourescent green blood splattered in large amounts as many of the hunters were simply crushed from the impact. The ship violently flipped & rolled end over end across the planet's harsh landspace, leaving large chunks of it's pulverised metal scattered everywhere.

Darksiege II followed, their thrusters at maximum force. Suddenly, as they neared the planet, the thrusters simply cut out. The same terrible fate that had befallen the hunters was happening to them too.....

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amidst the damaged wreckage of his crashed ship, a hunter pried himself from the smouldering metal titan. The creature collapsed to the ground, the jagged rocks of the planet's surface cutting into his flesh as he lay in a pool of his own flourescent green blood. It was Stalker, the feared second in command of the mighty Balatu clan. His fights spanned centuries, & have been some of the most grisly & ferocious battles recorded in all of the yautja's history. For a proud hunter like himself, a death like this was to show weakness. He tried to lift himself from the ground, the pain was unbearable. He managed to raise his head & take a quick look around. The planet was barren & seemingly lifeless, it's structure seemed to be made up almost entirely of large, jagged boulders & rocks, with a honeycomb of deep entrenchments running through them.

Stalker slid up against the wreckage of his ship, trying to flip open his wristcomputer, something was wrong, it wouldn't open. Stalker tried his mask- nothing. None of his tech was working, although strangely, most of it seemed to still be in good condition, so why wasn't it working? could there be a link between his equipments' failure & the ceasing of his ship's systems? Through his half glazed over eyes, he noticed another object come hurtling through the planet's atmosphere & crash down a couple of kilometres from his own position. It puzzled him why the atmosphere on this planet was breathable, as there seemed to be no signs of other life.

Stalker struggled to his feet as the planet's sun began to set. As the hunter stepped from the shadow of his ship however, his flesh began to burn. He needed to find cover fast. Rushing across the sharp, jagged rock faces with all the strength he had left in his body, he leapt into one of the rocky entrenchments which was running through the planet's surface. As the sun began to fall below the horizon, Stalker let out a mighty howl of agony as his clawed hand reached out, the last rays of sunlight searing the flesh of his hand as the planet slipped into darkness.....

Little did the hunter, & what others may have survived the crash know, was that deep below the planet's surface, their arrival had awoken it's other "inhabitants"

Undefined - The Hive
Far off in the distance, across plains of jagged stone, just beneath the scorched and barren terrain, something stirred in the waning twilight hour.

Its ebony flesh, complimented by the cold shadows around it, slowly came to life as the searing star above made its parting journey with the horizon.

The very ground had trembled this day, unbeknownst to the horrors which were about to seep forth from the cool depths below.

As the last shreds of the star's punishing light slipped beneath the sky, an elegant creature, it's sleek body betraying the terrifying ferocity within, emerged from one of the many dark tunnels which dotted the wasteland.

This creature of beauty, of elegance, of death, was to be known simply as Crow.

Crow's dexterous hands and clawed feet easily found ample footing on the jagged rocks which made his brood's harsh home. The heat from the stones beneath his feet, while extremely hot to the touch, were cooling fast as the boiling star drifted farther from the horizon.

Under normal circumstances Crow would have waited until the earth had cooled, but this was no normal day. Something had made the ground quake with fear, and Crow planned to find whatever it was. For the queen. For the hive.

Scrambling to the jagged end of a small ledge, Crow's senses sparked to life as something caught his attention. In the distance, something was moving...making sound...living. He could sense, even feel, the heat from the blazing wreckage around it, a feeling so alien to the xenomorph that it made his own flesh crawl.

Then, much fainter than before, Crow felt another presence. Sound waves had broken the otherwise still air, and while almost impossibly faint, they were still enough to catch his attention. Another intruder.

Swiveling his smooth head back around, Crow could feel the gentle padding of xenomorph feet. Two xenomorphs, whom were to be known as Donut and Drenton, had silently crept up behind him in his preoccupied state. Glancing from one to the other, he could tell that they had sensed it too. A hiss from Donut confirmed his suspicions. It was time to rouse the brood.

Nimbly hopping to the highest point of the small ledge, Crow entered a crouching position. His slender arms carefully perched upon two separate stones, the xenomorph raised his spiked sternum as he prepared to serve his brethren.

Fast-cooling air rushed deep into Crow's chest cavity through the four slits on his collar, where it built up inside him. Muscles expanded and hormones sparked, though the xenomorph's mind continued to remain sharp and unclouded.

Opening his fanged maw, Crow felt the air burst forth from the depths of his body. Crow's avian heritage made him suitable as one thing and one thing alone. A harbinger. It would be his call that would wake the hive. It would be his call that would be heard above all others.

Air burst forth from the depths of Crow's body, and his screech swept across the barren wasteland. The once-still air was now flooded by the sound of his call, as the terrain would soon be flooded by the graceful bodies of his kin.

The hunt was on. For the queen. For the hive.

Xenomorph - The Hive
(my next post will be better, due to some difficulties i had to shorten this one cause me and crow posted at the same time and did different things XD and i had to edit it before anyone got confused :u)

Night had come, and a blistering cold temperature shrouded the planets surface, finding its way through the dark crevices and above the peaking rocks that inhabited the planet. In the silence of the planet, a monsterous xenomorph hive lay hidden, and inside this hive, its children. Donut panted faintly as she crept over the resin covered floor, her fangs were bare and saliva oozed from her mouth. She soon came to the exit of the hive and ventured out.

She was with her younger brother Drenton as they moved through the rocks and ditches of the planet, the hive had felt a sudden geological disturbance and the queen emitted waves of concern, they wandered out here not only in suspicion but in curiousity. They quickly came upon crow, the youngest of the three, each of them exchanged glances of concern as they heard a strange faint sound from the distance.
Donut glanced as Crow as he perched on a ledge and released an ear piercing howl, it was a warning, there were intruders.

Donuts muscles contracted and loosened as she sprinted with her brothers, she was upright which was common for a xenomorph, but most of the xenomorphs in this particular hive choose to walk as quadripeds, which naturally gave them faster ground movement. The three of them were running to the hive, hoping that they had recieved the warning.

Hyro heard all the men and women around him groaning from the shock and pain from the sudden impact on the strange planet. Order had to be restored as well as a sense of security. "Humans... always prone to panic" hyro said to him-self. As he rose he gathered his officers Kidd, Vasquez, aeo, and StKlEr and had them gather the men and women of the ship to the mess hall hyro had a speech to make.

Uneasiness was floating in air as chatter from the m was growing. They were growing concerned and tense hyro knew this. Then he hopped upon a table yelling to gather attention. "People, people, PEOPLE!" hey yelled as the room shrunk to silence. All the eyes around were focused on hyro *good time to break the tension* hyro thought. "Alright I know we suffered a surprise crash that even ruffled me" an uneasy laugh arose at hyro’s pun on himself. "But thos can be fixed sure most of the crew has suffered massive injury, all our eletirical equipment has been disabled, and our ship has been torn to shreads. but ive seen men far less experianced than all of you pull through worse. *that’s it hyro rise confidence even if it’s a lie* hyro thought to himself. The fact is for crew of 300 over half died and another 100 suffered heavy injury but the rest of us remained unscathed. that fact was even if all of them were fine they werent fit for the situation at all. Almost half were scientists and as for the rest the only people who had ever seen any real combat were hyro’s men. The odds were definitely against him and his crew but *#&^ it! They would try! "The good news is that so far the environment isn’t hostile, most of the ship can be salvaged and used for shelter, and we have plenty of food please eat the perishables first since we have los cooling and brew to go around!" a lighter mood could be sensed in the atmosphere already they believed they had a chance. "I see the faces of many strong men and women and a simple fact remains if we work hard we can pull through this! After all you have the company of one of the best marine units in the galaxy!" A cheer arose to this statement. “Alright now that I have your attention what we need is a plan. First I want every scientist and injured here to find what can be salvaged from the ship because I’m sure all of you like me want to get off this rock, second we need to explore and set up a perimeter, as well as find that downed ship some people may need some help as well as possibly being able to help us. So anyone with any weapon skill suit up and move out! We got work to do!” As the room dispersed hyro’s senior Kidd came up beside him and muttered “lets hope what you just said is true”

Xenomorph - The Hive
Nothing but silence was heard, Navy was completley out of it. He then picked up his head out of a broken mask, dripping blood from his battered face. Navy held his left eye closed because of a shrapnel was stuck into it, Causing green blood to drip out nearly uncontrolabley. Navyspaz stood up barely able to stand the Pain, and held his face while oozing green congeile like blood. Navyspaz extended his wristblades and roared, He looked around for any Hostiles. Non-seen with his one eye that was barely in commision. Navyspaz picked up his mask which was extremely scratched and burnt from the crash. He held it up and examined it. He slightly growled in a "Damn" tone. and Said,
"Damnit, One of my most important tools"
and kneeled down and opened up the top of the mask. After a short while, the top of the mask sparked. And it lit up in the eyes bright red.
"Excellent..."
Then immediatley shut off...
"What the hell"
The mask shut off and was fried, there was no hope and reviving it by the looks of it...
Navy Roared and stood up and extended his wristblades while examining the area carefully, Then reached for his Combistick and holding it in his hand. Navy then walked up to a small crater like pit, Navy kneeled down into it and pressed a switch on his wrist. Navy then lit up with electricity all over his Tech parts on him. Navy could do nothing but watch it, It then all calmed down and went to normal. Navy said,
"Damn the crash must've disabled all my tech"
Then aimed at a nearby rock and switched the trigger to his Plasma caster with his Mandible.
...Nothing.
"Argh!"
Navy then roared while reaching over his shoulder and tearing the Plasma Caster off his Shoulder and slamming it into the hard rock shattering it.
Navy then ripped off every bit of his Tech and slammed it against the ground. And in the position he stood in was filled with Green Blood. Navy then stepped out of his pool of blood and walked of while small bits of blood still stuck to his feet.

Navy went into a nearby corridor like cave, not going in but maybe 6 feet into the rock.
Navyspaz needed a place to wait a while, see if he can find any other Yautja that escaped from the wreckage, meanwhile his wounds would heal a bit before going into battle with no technical weapons and tools.

Yautja - Balatu
The hunters eyes slowly began to open...Stalker was awakening. He could feel the warm blood trickling down his body as he rested in the secluded entrenchment. Laying his head back against the rock face, all he could think of was his clanmates. The uncertainty of their safety burned at him like a flaming dagger to the heart. He would not just sit here & bleed while his clanmates were suffering. Struggling to his feet, he let out a howl of pain & collapsed to one knee. His body had been badly broken in the crash, & he was barely able to walk. His earlier rush of adrenaline had helped him escape danger, but he would not be able to rely on that now.

The hunter's clawed hand reached over the edge of the embankment, he could feel the small, sharp rocks cutting through his fingers, but he was not deterred. Hoisting himself up onto the rocky plain, it was a sight to behold. Massive jagged boulders & rocks littered the landscape, there was barely a flat patch of land to be seen. He let out a mighty roar, attempting to signal any nearby survivors. Another roar echoed throughout the night sky, in response to Stalkers call, as the hunter turned to face the direction it had come from.

Slowly managing to clamber his way over the hellish landscape, Stalker noticed a small cave, tucked away in the side of one of the rock faces. The hunter pulled his beaten body to the cave, & found Navyspaz slumped in a pool of his own blood. Stalker kneeled over him, grasping him by the shoulder, "brother, are you alright?" the hunter bellowed. Navyspaz began to stir, he was badly injured but still able to walk. Stalker pulled him to his feet, "have you seen any other survivors?" he remarked, Navyspaz simply shook his head. These were dark times for the hunters, their equipment was malfunctioning, many of their brethren lay horribly mangled amongst the twisted remains of their ship, & they had no way off of this lifeless wasteland, & even still, this planet's true danger had not yet revealed itself to them.......

As they neared their brood, Crow could feel a growing level of activity ahead of them. Small at first, the disturbance in the air grew as a cacophony of xenomorph activity rose from the tunnels ahead. Through the light-sensitive patches of flesh covering his smooth hide, Crow could see the shimmering bodies of his kin in the pale moonlight cast down from atop the heavens. His call had been heard, and was answered in kind.

Trilling excitedly, Crow swept his gait around and, after pausing to make certain that Donut and Drenton were following alongside, began to head in the direction from whence they came, followed only by the sound of talons slipping upon rock and the occasional agitated or excited hiss. Even in such vast numbers, the brood remained a machine of stealth and lethal instinct.

Crow, unable to move as a biped like some of his other kin, raced across the jagged earth. Turning his head in mid-stride, the young xenomorph could sense some of his brethren breaking off to head in the direction of the second and more distant threat.

Turning his focus back to his own endeavors, Crow forced his legs to pump ever-faster toward this new foe. He warned the hive of this new threat, but that would not be enough to prove himself not only to his brothers and sisters, but to the queen herself.

On this night, he would need to tear flesh, to spill blood, to seize a host, if he were to ever gain the respect he craved...

In the wreckage of the hunter's ship, fragments of metal sizzled on top of the ship from the blazing heat of the wreck. Underneith the metal laid some form flashing from clear to gray. Electricity run up and down the hunter's body. Something must of damaged its cloaking device. Suddenly the flashing stopped and there was the hunter known as Cory. He was almost identicle to the City Hunter (Predator2). Although his brown mask had an old scar scratched down the right eye. Cory crawled out from beneith the metal and got on his knees. The metal that was once supported by his body clanked onto the ship and slid off the edge of it with an ear shattering sreetch. Sparks fluttered the air as the peice of metal dropped into the hot rocky soil of this strange planet. Soil splashed into the air like a busted fire hydrent. Cory shook the dirt off his chared armor. His dreadlocks waved back and forth. He wasn't sure of the where abouts of his clanmates yet he did spot bright green drops of yautja blood on the ground leading to a pile of large rocks.

Cory stepped across the top of the ship with a thud each time his foot met the surface of the smouldering ship. He sat down on the edge with his legs dangling over. He held his chest in from a wound. Bright beams of light from the moon lanced onto Cory's orange-ish green skin dotted with black spots. It was almost the planet was on a spot light with darkness surounding the outside of the light. Cory had been far in the top sectors of the ship to hide from his old clan members he had been allied together with. Afraid of their degression and his unhonorable disapereance to the clan.. the Hunter's Moon. Now being a Balatu hunter, he was ready to be blooded on this trip with the acception of the unexpected crash... Though this wasn't the hunter's main purpose in the this trip to blood but now it is to survive. Cory's side mission is to be blooded. It will be his second blooding.. He will not fail for whatever cost. Although most of his gear was damaged, he had his melee attack weapons. But having no further use for his disabled helmet, he keep it on to protect his head. Who knows of the dangers of this mysterous planet. Cory leaped off the edge of the ship. His feet sank into the hot, soft rocky soil. Suddenly memories filled Cory's head.. He felt he had been here before even though this planet was as mysterious as it was.

Cory ignored this interference. He had to move on and hunt something. Cory walked on along a rocky path away from the wreck site. Fearing for his clan's survival.. He moved on.. Something drove him to move on.. Persumally, hope. Hope of his clanmates out in this wasteland alive.. Clanmates such as Stalker. A hunter Cory looked up to and enveys... Stalker was the reason why he is ashamed of his past of once being a Bad Blood.. Cory travled off the path down a slope. The soft surface then turned to a rocky hill. Cory leaped from rock to rock to get down to the buttom of this slope. Once he got to the button, Cory was then smothered with thick, dark smoke. There was a ditch where chunks of metal burned with crackles and snaps. Chared ashes hover into the sky. Cory then heard a hiss off in the distance. Being startled, Cory clintches his fists tight. His large wristblades slide out of his guantlet. Something was out there... He has to be more aware of the dangers the lie ahead in his brutal guest for victory, redemption, honor and survival...

Yautja - Balatu
the yuatja ship laid dead on the baron ground, smoke raised from its carcus, what had once been a vulture in space was now nothing but the lifeless remnants of a bird shot down.

the doctor laid in darkness, he was concious but couldnt move, he could feel a large wieght pressing down on him. slowly he grasped the recent events,he was on the bridge observing the flight. the controls went dead suddenly, odd, very odd, what could have knocked out the ships controls so suddenly? then he remembered the crash.

the doctor realised why he couldnt move, a large sheet of metal was pressing down on him, most probably one of the ships doors or hull plating. he started to move his fingers, at least that was a start. there was a small amount of space between the metal and his hands. he turned his arms around, he could feel the friction between the muscle and the metal. after some repostioning the doctor had both of his hands facing upwards. he pressed them against the heavy metal, he took a few breaths and let out a burst of energy thrusting his arms upwards, pushing the metal.

the metal moved, only slightly, but it moved. the doctor could feel the air rush past him, he could only push it up to a 50 degree angle before other wrekage stoped it from moving further. the doctor could move his legs now witht the new amount of freedom, he slid them up towards his chest and tried to sit, though it was impossible to sit he was now in the perfect position to push the metal away.

the doctors arms started to give, he had been holding the heavy sheet of metal for long enough, he took a breath and pushed again this time redirecting the energy to his knees. the doctor exploded out of the metal confines, the metal sheet fell down infront of him with a heavy thud.

the breeze rushed past him, his eyes were closed but he could already tell what the world around him looked like. the doctors eyes opened to the chaos around him and he let out a mighty roar.

Drenton c0cked his head to one side, and listened. Over the sound of his brothers and sisters feet lightly pattering the ground, he heard somthing. Somthing way to familliar. Somthing that chilled his heart, somthing that no-one untill now had been able to do. It was the most feral roar he had heard in many years.

It was a predator, and it sounded big. His body started to realese a new strain of adrenaline, that swept through his cold body. It swelled inside him, sharpening all of his senses, tensing every muscle, and then...

It dissapeared. Drenton felt uneasy from the sudden ammount of energy that had flowed through his body, and had dissapeared as suddenly as it had come.

A low, hoarse hiss issued from Drenton's mouth. Crow whipped his head around, just as Drenton tore past him towards to source of the sound, to hopfully encounter the predator.

This planet would be a grave yard on this grim week. Many would fall, some would stand, but it would be a loss for all.

But life would be born.

(Sorry that this is crummy, but I've been helping others in the clan room as a predator in a training rpg, so I'm a lil' bit rusty at being an Alien. I'll warm up soon though!)

Those who had ever set foot on this living nightmare of a planet, had soon come to realise that the word 'hope' didn't exist here.

In life, the only certainty, is death. A harsh reality that was more often than not, forced upon the inhabitants.

But for one creature, death was not an option.

The sun had gone down, finally the sun bleached landscape was scalable, and for one lone warrior, it was time to get moving.

6 months had past. 6 long months since the once glorified elder turned Rogue had been captured and sent into exile. Jettisoned into space for his crimes against the yautja community, breaching their ethical codes of conduct and following a bloody trail of slaughter without even a trace of honour behind his actions.

--------------------------------------------

The environment was now familular to him, Almost like an open prison cell. The hunter had scoured the sourounding land by nite and had made several small trenches for himself, lookouts for the terrors that lay beneath the jagged surface.

Shadowblade, to his knowledge, was the only surviving inhabitant of this frightfull globe. Over his 6 month ordeal here, he had seen many fall prey to the horrors that roam this unholy land. Fall prey to the beasts that he had encountered so many times before. The hard Meat. The xenomorphs. They were the rulers of this world, and none would escape their wrath alive.

Apart from those with deep dishonour and vengefull bloodlust.

Shadowblade sat apearch a large spiked ridge which looked out over the cold, stark surroundings of his 'adopted' home.

Row upon row of scar tissue - fresh and old laced the hunters scaly skin, war wounds that told a tale of his plight here, accompanied by shallow breathing through his decimated mask, half smashed with huge claw marks across it - shadowblade was a survivor.

during his loyal clan days he had seen many a successfull hunt against these ebony horrors, but always at a price - the loss of clan mates weighed heavily on his mind, as more and more fell whilst Shadowblade alweemed to escape the jaws of death. His continuing success should have brought him glory, should have bnrought him and eldership. But it was robbed from him. His blood turning cold, Shadowblade turned his back on everything that was sacred to the yautja, and went on to be the most feared rogue hunter in the galaxy, unleashing his fury on all that stood in his path.

It was this bloodlust alone, that kept the mighty warrior alive here, here on this planet where there is no such thing, as hope.

i can smell your fear.
OTANG
2006-08-02 09:45:58
Yautja
By the time Otang had awakened from the ordeal, hundreds of Yautja had met their doom with no way to help them. They died bleeding, needing medical attention, and many grunted and moaned spewing out luminescent blood from their jaws. Limbs lay all around the immediate vicinity. The young-hearted Hunter recalled how a reinforced entry way was the only reason he had survived the catastrophic incident. He was alone on this venture because he had no clan.

There was a time when he had one and would do anything for the good of it, but Otang had problems. His loss of consciousness resulted in a clansman getting hurt or killed. Medical staff called it chemical imbalance and his treatment had just begun, but too late. His actions got him excommunicated from his clan.

Otang abandoned many things on the wreckage including his mask. It lacked power, as did everything else. Drudging through the junk metal, he helped a few fellow Yautja, even one with a severed leg who wouldn’t survive he thought. Although the brunt of the trauma was absorbed by the entryway, the Beast didn’t come out unscaved. He had a laceration in his ribs from shrapnel and wrapped some cloth around himself to stop and absorb his bleeding. He just wanted to get out, and get out quick before he has another ‘attack’ and lashes out, hurting himself or others.
