Here's a scary story: I'm a compulsive headphone buyer. Anything having to do with music, really: speaker systems, cables, mallets, drum sticks, stick bags... I've got a real problem. Sure, it's fun for my eyes and heart (and... ears, I guess), but real fuckin' terrifying for my bank account. I probably dropped more than $800 in the past 2 months alone for headphones and other such crap.

Guys, I'm about to buy another pair right now. It's scary because I just might. But they aren't just any old phones. Oh, no, no, I've had my eye on these for the past few years now: the AKG Q701 Quincy Jones. They're very green. But I've already got the Bowers & Wilkins P5 and the Harman/Kardon BT. Last year I bought 4 pairs for no reason. They're since retired and I'm not entirely sure where they are in my house. I'm working on that.
