If it makes you feel any better, 11-year-old me always thought Onix was just a bunch of Geodudes bunched together, and I didn't know what that was called, so, with naivety, I proclaimed "they were evolved" without the slightest clue of what the hell I was actually talking about.

Now I know it's called an orgy.

Although now that I think of it, I got into them pretty much right when they were going "out," so to speak. They were pretty cool, though. Mine had lots of monsters and goblins and shit on them.

Figurative shit, not literal shit. That'd be weird.

There were probably kitten Pogs, too. Or lions. Lions are fuckin' awesome.

I wiki'd the shit out of Pogs (extensively skimmed while avoiding an assignment) and found out it was basically a children's casino, except it could happen anywhere there were Pogs, including schools.

I don't know. I don't ever remember kids gambling little discs back then - it was all Yu-Gi-Oh! bullshit and Beyblades and whatever else was an anime with cool animals in it.

Nah, this pre-dated Yugioh by quite a few years. It was right around the time Kurt Cobain killed himself. 95 or thereabouts.
