Two 'Alien' Prequels Planned!

Is there anybody out there who can tell me, why are all these big time directors so damn self conceited?? James Cameron, Robert Rodriguez and even Ridley Scott now talking down on other people's films... Even if the AVP movies didn't hold up to the originals, both Paul and the Brothers Strauss showed Ridley and Cameron a whole lot of respect and luv and said numerous times if it wasn't for them, they would probably not even be making movies and that those 2 guys really inspired them.
See I'm in the entertainment business too, but in the music industry, and I've been able to work with most the people who inspired me and most of them have been really cool, although I have stumbled upon a few people who have been very self conceited too and they just get on my nerves...

Anyway back to topic, I really liked Avatar, so we'll see what Ridley can do to raise the bar even higher if he can, I doubt it, cuz IMO Cameron is the better film maker, but we'll see....

It's because they know to avoid using a pleonasm like "self conceited". Also, it's because it is factually accurate that only mentally immature or retarded people with absolutely no understanding of modern culture and civilisation liked the AvP movies enough to actually care when someone talks them down. Also, unless you're in eastern Asia, the "music business" is a joke nowadays. What other biased, insulting, offensive comment based on absolutely no facts would you like me to add to this post? BECAUSE I AM ABSOLUTELY TOO BORED TO READ THAT ARTICLE AND I HATE YOUR PLEONASM!!!

Oh, but i don't really know his opinion, i read until the pleonasm, facepalmed, then jumped to some other sentences, got bored and then wrote that. His post may actually make a lot of sense, but i don't know, cos i didn't really read it.

Yeah he didn't go all out while saying negative remarks about AVP and wasn't as conceited as Jimbo, but I just don't like when people talk down to the people that they inspired in the movie industry. And Death Wraith, you're right about the music industry, the mainstream is a joke these days, but there's also a underground music scene, where the music I do which is Gangsta Rap can still serve it's purpose and artists like us can still get our word out... And the people who inspired me like 2pac's group the Outlawz and Thug Life are both down with me and I have had the opportunity to work with them on several occasions. But anyway back to the movie topic, yeah I like the fact that Ridley's about to make 2 new prequels, it's gonna be nice to see what he does, but I don't expect as much as most because I'm not a big Ridley fan, but if he can do better than Jim like he says he's gonna do, well that would be great, but I have my doubts...

It's about real life that happens in the neighborhoods that we come from, that's what it's about and I've been able to work with Ice-T, Thug Life/Outlawz and many other legends in the game, but this is off topic, so I'm not gonna go explain everything about it...

It will definitely be interesting to see Ridley's take on his prequels, but I just hope he doesn't mess up too much of the mystery surrounding the xeno's... That happens pretty often in prequels, sorry to say...

That thing about bitches and hoes is hip-hop mostly. The term "rapping" reffers to speaking very fast in rhymes, while hip-hop is... like what 50cent does, always about the same thing and never interesting. Rapping is a form of reciting and reciting was a very respected art in ancient Rome.

Anyway, i've read the two articles (more or less) and i really don't care how many prequels he makes, but it's ridiculous to call them two prequels and say he will never make a sequel when he will obviously make a sequel to the prequel.

Real Hip Hop are people like Nas, Ice Cube, Ice-T, Public Enemy, The Game, 2pac, KRS One and people like that who actually talk about something. Yeah 50 does sometimes, but so far only 2 of his albums could actually be considered Hip Hop, but the rest are Pop... Other pop rappers are Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, Diddy and others who's music is commercial with no real meaning, but money, cars, bling, bitches and stuff like that. That is Pop music, mainstream rap, not hip hop....

I don't actually plan on ever becoming a rap/hip-hop artist (lol, "hip-hop artist"). I was just taking note of the fact that i was trying to make rap look good and you completely fucking destroyed my arguement.
