Was 'Aliens Versus Predator' created 20 years ago??

The movie 'PREDATOR II' was created almost 20 years ago, but near the end of this movie you see something strange. As the man follows the PREDATOR into his ship, he looks around and if you look close enough, when the screen shot of the PREDATOR trophy's unit there are skulls of their greatest kills, you see the 'QUEEN ALIEN' skull.

I want to know, how come they made it have the Alien skull??

And why have they done this??

The film was created almost 20 years ago??

The first Aliens vs Predator comic was released in 1989 by Dark Horse Comics, one year before Predator 2 came out. The xenomorph skull shown in the predator ship at the end of the film was intended to be a "wink" at the comic series which had just started up.

Furthermore, the skull was not that of an alien Queen. It was an adult warrior skull.

The queen skull is in the picture used as a wallpaper in the levels and difficulty menu when you begin the predator campaign in AvP 2 Primal Hunt... in the movie it's just a warrior skull i think.
