The "Gort" Predator

Here are some Pictures of the Gort Predator. I was looking for some Celtic Pred renders and saw this. I thought this was interesting but this is the Predator that gave Anderson his ideas for celtic. We saw this Predator in Predator 2 for a short amount of screen time but I thought it was interesting enough to post.
Any Comments?

To tell you the truth, when I first saw Celtic on screen I thought that was the same Predator as this "Gort" Predator featured at the end of Predator2.

Yea probably they just tried to fancy it up in AVP so people wouldn't see the relation. I guess they really didn't make any brand new character masks. Well Chopper's design maybe but thats all.

Scar's mask seems a little "new" too. It may look similar to the 'regular' Predator mask but there are many minor differences (even if you don't count the blooding mark).

I thought Scar's mask was alot like both Predator1's and Predator2's mask. Look carefully and you can see features of both masks. I'd say it has the classic color from P1 but more shiney. The snout is obously barrowed from P2's mask. The "eyebrow" of the mask is alot like P1' mask. Only it has the new cyclops eye look that Chopper has.

There were many great predator designs at the end of Predator 2, none of which really got any decent screen time. This was definitely one of the more interesting ones.
