I do. The Jockeys were at war with the Yautjas, but the yautjas were alot more advanced than the jockeys, the war was nearing an end and thejockeys were loseing so they gathered DNA from all the deadliest species in there galaxy includeing there own thous the Xenomorph was made, so they send a ship carrying alien eggs to one of the preds outposts (lv-426) but the ship crashed on the planet,then some preds whent to examine the crash and they got infected so they went to were they lived on the planet for help but it was two late, so then all the preds in the planet got infected, so the preds from the preds homeplanet sent a bomb to the planet and the atmosphere in the planet was destroyed so lv-426 become a barren rock.

ok that makes sense, where you getting your info from though? i know the comics are set in different timelines and feature different species of alien etc, i just hope they'd one day go into the history of the alien in one of the movies, if that is there is actually going to be another alien movie, please god let the romours of paul anderson writing the script not be true. good to see a decent alien fan on the board vega. xenoman & alienhunter, props to you lads as well.

hmmm, i'm quite up in the air about what i think they are - i def beleive they were obviously used for transporting the aliens, and i do go along with the theory that perhaps they did indeed create the aliens for use in a war as weapons. though against who i cant say - your thoughts on them fighting against the predators was quite interesting. i read somewhere that the aliens were a final batch of eggs being transported to a location to be destroyed but an accident occured on the ship causing the aliens to break lose and kill the crew. so many theories, maybe we'll get a proper explanation one day.

ok, i'm just gonna go on the reasoning of how they look here. i gotta say my favourite alien is the drone from the first alien movie, i think it had a general aura of terror, more so than the aliens that followed in the sequels.

fav pred has to be CELT, think he had the best head gear of the preds in any of the movies, he also seemed to be the lead pred of the pack in AVP, its a shame he died so early on in the film but as i've stated so many times to pred fans, it was fair game, they went toe to toe and GRID was the victor.

Well im neck and neck with my favourite aliens its between the drone from alien and the dog alien from alien3.

My favourite pred would have to be the elder predator at the end of AVP he looks a bit more agressive than the other predators. Got any favourite pred weapons or alien moves?

ok lets see, fav weapons.... well the plasma cannon is funky but i gotta say the preds new throwing stars are great, in my opinion better than the disks, the extra long wrist blades look alot better too. these teenage preds seem to look better than the others in the first two movies, must be the fashion these days..

best alien movie. damn you got me there. i'm torn. i love aliens so much, was the first one i saw, the extended edition is fantastic, but you cannot beat the sheer tension and dread from the original alien, that film had such a great build up, if i was pushed, i'd have to say alien i think. dont get me wrong i love all the action and the large amount of aliens but those tiny dark, smoke filled corridors from the nostromo are enough for alien to tip the bill as my best one of the series.

My favourite Alien movie would have to be the first one,its just got this feeling of orginality to it, resurection is the one I hate, I mean what were they thinking with the newborn(it looks cool i just hate the idea) and the mutant drones they look to much like something from Jurassic Park. Whats your worst alien movie? And what about AVP what do ya think of it?

well straight off i agree with ya about resurrection - it was real bad, plus it wasnt a dark enough film, the atmosphere was a little off, the tried to put a few jokes in there which totally ruined the feel of it. people say alien 3 is bad, i thought that was far better than resurrection. AVP. hmmm. i've seen it at the cinema and have it on vcd, i've watched it a few times and cant help but feel a little let
down. if the makers of the film would have kept to the book and not cut out all the best scenes then i think it would have kept my attention alot more. not that i'm complaining, i thought the film was ok, boths preds and aliens looked great but the dialogue was lame and it just was not long enough. like the idea of the whole pyramid/predators hunting for rites of passage etc etc, the just needed to beef it up a bit with an extra hour of back story and characters we actually would care about. maybe i'm being too harsh...
