ok, c'mon. that guy was not the real bishop. yes, i know 85 smacks him upside the head with a wrench and you can see blood down bishops face BUT...lets get real here - bishop tells ripley he's real, he designed the bishop android line - not so. charles bishop weyland died hundreds of years ago in the time frame that sported AVP. another movie blunder...?

thats prob true doctor because since he had that disease you can gurantee that he had blood on ice from himself.

maybe before the events of AvP he had a blood sample put away and gave instructions to clone him later on in the future.

yeah granted, but to be an exact match? thats gotta be 100 to 1 chance of that happening. i dunno, seeing as we were shown blood escaping from his wound the guy had to be human, but then, the terminators had living tissue covering their exoskeleton, that included blood......hmmmm. a possible advanced android? doubtful though, looking at annalee call in resurrection, she still had the milk like substance as blood.

oh i dunno, just bugs me.

i presume so. evidence of the aliens in resurrection shows that if need be, the weakest of the brood would be killed in order that the others may continue to survive, i think if the alien was threatend enough it would have killed ripley if a mere drone was chestating inside of her.

i see what you're saying, but, the problem lies with that fact that scar blows the pyramid to pieces and there are no other humans to escort bishops body to saftey to take blood samples for cloning.

the xeno in alien 3 didnt kill ripley because she had a queen in her correct? So what if it just was a drone inside her would the alien would of ended her life then?

It's not the real bishop in alien3. like daveberg said, his name was "bishop 2" and also when 85 goes to hit him he yells out "F***ing Android!"......if you look at his ear after he's his, it's like dislocated to the side and covered in a white substance unless my eyes decieve me. this i think rules out the possibility of him being cloned.

It is the real Bishop, The origonal Bishop might have died in AVP, but he clones him self.

well, i doubt that mate coz charles bishop weyland was murdered by scar remember? and the pyramid was blown to pieces leaving no trace of anything. hows it goin TD?

K THIS IS THE REAL REASON WHY BIsHOP IS IN ALIEN 3:
charles bishop weyland started weyland enterprises. after he died, genetation after generation of the bishop family took over managment of the company. hundreds of years after the events of avp, one of charles bishop weylands descendents,michael bishop took over managment of weyland enterprises and merged with the japanese science company Yutani, to form Weyland-Yutani.

its possible. the reason why i think its a droid is due to the name they gave him in the end credits 'bishop 2' as i mentioned earlier.
