harsh comments. I haven't seen the film yet so I can't really give my opinion on it yet but that hasn't stoped it doing incredibly well all over the states.

Paul Anderson had a hard task in front of him, binging these two together on the big screen, come on , you have to give the guy some credit for putting forth his ideas to FOX otherwise it would properly not see the light of day otherwise.

yeah i must admit that im worried about the movie ive seen his work on resident evil and that film was rubbish.

Its a good movie and i definitly liked it but a couple of things could ahve been better. Definitly go see it.

i totally agree wit u. like ur self im a die hard fan and i found the film very disapointing. i also believe he made the preds seem like pussy cats compared to the aliens when they didnt have their shoulder cannons.

Im also a die hard fan and the only thing i didnt like is that the Predators were being killed so easily.

well don't give up on paul anderson yet cause he said the dvd will be better cause he reinserted some footage that we didn't see in theaters plus there will be extras
I think Paul Anderson did a Great Job For AVP he gave us a whole lot for the film so don't bad mouth him untill you see it for yourself and he did everything in his power to give us a awesome movie!

Well my opinion is that the movie is good but couldve been better. Plus it seems that Anderson made the aliens seem as the bad guys. Now that wernt fair,who agrees with me.

well , it would have been hard to class them as the good considering that their whole exsistance is based on elimenating anyone different from themselves and to just contiue to grow.

I didnt like the Preds getting killed so much.
And the whole team up with scar and the main girl, was cool in a way, but they didnt make it COOl enough, they made it cheesy. CHEESEY, like people were like "Kiss me" when the pred took off his helmet. Comon, Kiss me! That is not something you say when you see a predator without a mask, this is just unacceptable. THere wasent enough fighting too..........

i think the movie was good the aliens were kicking butt. but the preds dont die that easy. the movie should have been longer. more battle scenes. and why were their no preatorians!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Freezerman: Paul Anderson didnt do a good job wit this movie. he took the 2 biggest monsters in the movies and made them have a little girly fight. it shouldve had more gore in it like in the other films. All the alien and pred films were rating 18 in the uk which is the highest u can get! how can u make an 18+ film in to a 15 its just pointless. he shouldve made the chestbursting more gory like in the films. and made the predators less like pussy cats and into hardcore hunting machines like they are. even thou the new weapons he thought were awesome it was just disapointing in the lack of violence. also y are the humans so shit?

I agree with all the hardcore predator fans on this one the predators weren't shown as they should have been. I mean come on the first predator never even saw it coming that wouldn't happen. Also I think by killing off two predators back to back just made them seem like they couldn't hold ther own ground witch is bull shit. So to all the pred fans out there I am with you guys pred's forever

Yeah I don't hate this asshole Paul Anderson, but really I don't like this english mindless lizard! The only movie that really i like was EVENT HORIZON 1997 and that's all! AVP was just a bottom of a hole and I was so dissapointed from the way tha FOX has accepted the offer in that way. Nothin' from the previous film has lef, only shits! In that movie the weak points are: 1 - Too small runtime about a 100 mins. with the edn credits when all the previous movies was over a 2 hours and more, 2 - low and mindless direction, 4 - low characterization and actors play like a faggots, 5 - no story, if the were based it on the AVP 2 the PC game, set in the future on LV 2101 with some great story line ignorin most of the facts that came out from the stupid comics it will be better than this, 6 - no music like the predator movies or alien movies, they all was with awesome sound: Alan Sylvestry, Jerry Goldsmith, Jaes Horner just to name a few, 7 - no sound effects, 8 - no scary, no dark enough, and how when this movie was rated with an 13 rating when the other movies was rated with an 18 R! I think that's all I can say about AVP and Mr. Anderson! Absolute failure! MITKOHAZARD

ok guys you're missing the big picture here. anderson actually wanted all the gore and for the movie to be longer, you need to look further into it and see it was fox who shat on us the fans and said they wanted to aim it at younger audiences, they saw the final cut and remarked that it was too long and that it had to be cut to deliver to a wider audience, anderson himself must be gutted that he couldnt deliver AVP the way he wanted - my advice, if Fox would have given us a movie almost identical to the novel, we'd all be happy chappies.

paul andersons hard work turned out as fetid piles of trash from one point he made the chestbursting less gory he made the preds look like wimps he has no idea of the preds strength he has definetly no seen pred 1 and 2 or either the alien legacy or quadrilogy coz he has no idea even though his intentions were good but the results BAD the preds are not wimpy dumb creatures and though i am an alin diehard fan i too hold some respect for preds (i am a 10 yr old kid and i have pred 1 and 2 and the alien legacy and quadrilogy)

I saw it last night, and here is my 5 pence worth

First of all the Pred's were really too wimpy, i know it was a rite of passage thing, but they just seemed un-ready for the aliens or plain wussy.

Next up, (SPOILER AHEAD) i really cannot believe that an impregnated predator would allow himself to go on, knowing he was gestating an pred-alien. he would have sat down on the floor, with a big laugh and self destructed the lot of the little bleeders.

A pred and a human teaming up, nope, cant see that, i liked it when the pred tooled the lassie up with a shield and spear, nice, but he should have just vanished from sight after that.

Again, the Predator seemed to only be able to jump about 6 inches longer than a human when clearingt the crevace - what happened to his awesome power???

the two "lesser" predators were killed off way too early and way too easily

where the hell did all these aliens come from, and so quickly, i thought they took much longer to gestate. We counted about 15 aliens that got killed, and there were only about 8 people on the exploration team to gestate aliens in!

How can an alien mouth go through predator alloy?

I would really have liked to see the predators trying to hunt in a pack, like a veloceraptor does in the Jurassic park movies.

The aliens needed more time to build up there reserves of soldiers, thats when they are awesome, when sheer numbers scare the crap out of whoever is in the way. How about having loads of teams show up when the thermal generator is detected, and slowly each team vanishes, as the aliens get them, meanwhile the pred's just wait it out until there is plenty of fair game.

i could go on, but suffice it to say i am a very dissapointed by this film, dont know whose fault it is, but it really sucked.
