Gro'tye

can some body enlightan me as to what a "Gro'tye" is ?

well i think that if any of yall tried that as a pred yall would be spalattered on the cave walls because with one swipe it can sweep 5-10 preds of their feet so yal would be dead. i would do an all out assault with every weapon in my arsenal. but then i would still probably die. Gro'tye are actually way way bigger than preds. probably more like a an alien queen. and every body knows no elder alone(no matter how well trained) can beat an alien queen, i mean she is huge and can shrug off lots of damage easily. and with one huge claw can send a yautja flying. i think gro'tye and alien queens are pretty well matched. even iro'tye isnt really a movie monster.(queen might win in a fight though). that is why i was comparing them. it would take a whole clan to kill a gro'tye. according to games there were legends that a pack of gro'tye SLAUGHTERED even the strongest of clans. so noone can really kill one alone.(sorry if i kinda killed the topic lol)


Stalk, Hunt, Kill

I would pole vault onto the back of the creature, extend my wrist blades and clamber onto it's belly and start slashing it. The I would collect the skull, get the skin, and return to my clan.

Grot'ye was featured on AVP: Extinction. As a clan you are supposed to hunt three of them and take their skulls. But there is another clan there after the same goal. You have to take three Grot'ye skulls before they do.

It is a giant lizard, that looks very much like a bear. It has huge claws, and a mouth like a squid, but its teeth extend down far enough to touch the bottom of his neck. He's about 1 1/2 times the size of a taller Predator.

1: Cloak
2: Get a distamce
3: Spear Gun
4: Plasma Caster
5: Disc
6: Net
7: Combstick
8: Wristblades

I would just...

1. Cloak
2. Get behind him
3. Jump on his back
4. Ride him if you must
5. Stab the combistick into his head
6. Jump off
7. Turn around
8. Blast him silly with the Plasma Caster
9. Blow him up
10. Blow him up again
11. Blow him up some more
12. Blow the living ( mod censored ) out of him
13. FIRE! FIRE!
14. Keep blasting, ( hours if must ), untill satisfied
15. Take skull

its a huge big thing that hides in caves and can easily kill a predator

i would:

1:cloak
2:run behind it
3:silently pull out my combistick
4:stab it up the **** (butt)
5:run around as it turns around
6:jump up
7:twist in the air
8:slit its throat
9:and kill its young and take skulls

but i would do that if i was a pred....but im an alien (which is best LOL)

1. Cloak
2. keep distance while firing plasma caster and spaergun.
3. then, if it is still alive, I will jump on its back and stab it with my combitick, through the spine.
4. If it still lives, I will slice the back of its neck with the maul.
5. then I will take the skull.

I would:

1.Cloak right when i saw the enemy.
2.Sneak up behind it, walking only when it does. to hide the sound of my foot steps.
3.Get up behind it.
4.with wristblades slice up into back, holding him up in the air.
5.Then twisting/pulling my blades out real fast yank it out of his back.
6.slam him hard into the ground with blades.
7.Put one knee on his back, to make sure he doesnt get up.
8.one hand on head.
9.pull skull off.

ummm....I thought it was illeagal to the Predators to take both the skull and the skin.

If you think about it. Your slightly right about some things, like when you said a PACK of Gro'tye killed a clan, well that was a PACK. you kill like, 3 with only a few preds, so your right about a few things but not all you said was true. And this will conclued this, ( shall i say ), arguemant so the topic isn't done for. But again, not to insult you, but I do agree with a few things you said, but not all, sorry though.

I would:

1.kill it lol just kiddin

I would realy:

1.cloak
2.lock on to vitals (head,lungs,heart)
3.shoot it with plasmacaster

If that fails:

1.jump on it
2.jab it with wrist blades till it falls over
3.stab in belly with combistick and laugh as it dies a slow grusome death

I too wish to know what a Gro'tye is, for I have not read the books, nor have I played Predator: Concrete Jungle. I can only assume that it is very big. To me, it sounds almost like a giant lizard.

Stalk, Hunt, Kill

I would...

1. get up on high ground.
2.cloak so the gro'tye wouldnt notice me immidiantly.
3.launch several spears at once into his head.
4. when spear gun runs out of ammo. i will use full charged plasma casts in into the neck, so the skull wouldnt be damaged.
5.throw bombs underneith it to trip or hurt it badly.
6.try to drop down on head with spear straight down through the skull killing it.
7.charge up, and blow guts out of stomach to make sure its dead.
8.get in a safe spot incase it woke up.
9.work on pulling his skull out, and try to put the body on display somewhere for other things/people to see it, and fear.
10. leave.

I would throw a bannana at it.
