well... ok, some of the revies i read was true.... but all & all alien 4 was really cool. I loved the part about the alien sneaking onto the escape pod... and than the captain through a granade on it. But i did not like how the guy said earth was a shit whole, it was better than the ship he was on.

Okay, I do LOVE alien and I'm also a kid. But I would have given this movie 5 stars if it weren't for that BAD BABY! Yes, the alien that kills the queen. WHY did they design it so horribly, WHY! The only cool part about it is that it takes huge bites out of peopole's heads, but other than that it was horrible! and Where's that alen 5 & 6 they were talki'n about in the first movie's commentary? I understand most of the movie though, like when they clone ripley. It also has funny parts like when that one guy's climbi'n up the ladder and sees a small spider and shoots it with his pistol. But I don't think any of the alien movies are scary, just cool! (and if you think my spelling is good, I'm in forth grade and still in elementary school)

Its was reeeeeeealy weird. The whole newborn thing and the killing of the Queen...whatever was with that. But the effects were awsome.

I would have to say this film is about in equality with Aliens. While I love Aliens, and I love this film, they both are the underdogs of the series in my eyes. Resurrection had an amazing story, and awesome creature design, not to mention stunning acting, it's downfall was how it tried to revive the series, other than let it rest in peace. Alien 3 was to be the epic ending of the series, and it still is in my opinion, Resurrection is simply a failed attempt to reanimate it's corpse, to 'resurrect' it. Perhaps that is another reason I like it and hate it, it used the 'resurrection' subtitle so intelligently, yet I hate how it tried to resurrect the greatest sci-fi/horror series of all time.

Loved the way they brought back Ripley. The updated robot Winona played. The swimming Aliens great. Nice story line.

A complete knife through the heart in the Alien franchise. Just a C average action movie with aliens in it.

This movie was pretty bad it was better than aliens 3 but there was not enough action or suspense in it. I could jsut guess whats was goin to happen. It got boring after awhile and i could not watch it in one sitting. But besides that the cgi was pretty damn good. I derfinaly like the way the aliens look in Aliens they look alot more firce and scary thats the way they should have stayed after the second one. But all in all this movie was ok i would recomed a rent b4 u think about buying it.

I think it was really good it had great grapics but there was only 1 bad thing and that was the part where the half alien half human kills the queen i hated that but other than that i thought it was a great movie

out of all the alien movies combined this one was the greatest

I saw this movie about a week ago and i thought that this movie sucked. i still dont get the whole thing with the human-alien hybrid i thought that it could have done alot better. 2/5

CRAP! I thought every Alien movie was excellent until I saw this! I didn't understand the story. Yeah I understood Ripley coming back after 200 years but resurrecting as a human/alien clone? WTF?!

This movie was the worst out of all of the alien movies

- they couldnt have cloned the queen, because they only got ripley's DNA.

- second the acting and the story were a bit joky, like no one really cared

I first thought that this movie was good, until I saw the directors cut for Alien 3, then I thought alien 4 was crap.

I don't like Alien Resurrection, because this is the disgracing of the fantastic movies Alien, Aliens and Alien3. And the Half-Alien-Human monster *sucks*. I think this is a very poor film. Just a film "made-for-money". I hate it.

The Alien Legacy was great. Alien Resurrection, come on it was awesome.

hello um... you wanna know why i hate this movie so much well i have 5 things to say
1.ripley
2.newborn
3.newborn kills queen?wtfs
4.what happend to hivks?
5.the only surviving stand to prevent me from saying 0

The only Kudos I'm giving this movie was, the lore of the movie was still correct and didn't go too far off, except for the "newborn" thing was just... odd.

I know ripley was cloned from her DNA, and they tried many times (seeing the room full of "mistakes" of ripley) when she killed one of her clones with a flamethrower.

But, the series easily could have been called a "Trilogy" and ended with Ripley jumping in the furnace.

Cloning her was just a little silly, her being a "bad A" was also silly, and the black guy with dreadlocks could ricochet bullets perfectly, but couldn't shoot an alien right below him with like 7 shots? it would be easy to just kill in one shot with that kind of accuracy. There was also no explanation on how the Newborn got there, it was laying eggs normally like an Alien Queen at first, than gave birth like a Human? Why did it kill the queen?

And another thing, others might like but I thought that the gore was a little overly exagerated, esspecially with the Newborn.

And the general pulling a chunk of brain from his head, etc...

i love this movie its the best one in the series
