Alpha Draconis, founded by it's former leader TDN, is known to have rowdy and unlawful marines, but it is the best unit that the United States Colonial Marine Corps has to offer.
Alpha Draconis was the first Human clan to emerge on avpuniverse.com, Since our birth we have been the top knotch clan in the RPGS with Several victories and the many trophies on the Wall of Alpha Draconis, we are one of the most decorated clans on the website. Our elite clan has overcome every obsticle that has ever stood in our way, with an unwavering sense of pride and devotion to duty nothing can stand in front of the marines of Alpha Draconis! Alpha Draconis is currently under the command of First Lieutenant Peterson.
Alpha Draconis is famed by its soldiers due to their individual attitudes and their co-operative ways. It is never about the weapons or the vehicles that they operate, just the men and women that serves the Corps. The clan is about making famous heroes from the human race, and that all that is impossible is possible for the AD Marines.
With New leadership the Marines of Alpha Draconis are still on their wits to overcome any obsticle that may present itself to them. Ready, steady and Set to Kill with windling numbers Alpha Draconis faces extinction, only the few standing have the chance to save the legacy of Alpha Draconis!
Legacy of Alpha Draconis As told by First Lieutenant TDN:
History: Humanity have extended it's reaches through the far depths of space. It has began forming colonies on any planet it deemed habitable. Each sector, or a group of planet are given a name, it's own government and a squad of marines to protect that sector against threat. One of those sector was called sector Draconis. The marines of these sectors are called "Draconis Marines".
At these times, the influence of the Weyland-Yutani corp. was growing through the colonies and it has even affected the government of these colonies. At the same time, there had been more reports of growing Xenomorph population and sightings of Predator attacks. Yet the population only knew part of the thruth. The threat that these two creatures are made small by the company. The reason for this is because the company wants to capture these creatures for testing and by decreasing the amount of threat that they pose, they can do it without protest. Because of this act, many of the colonies have fallen to Xenomorph infestation and Predator attacks.
There was only one of the many sectors that the company's influence haven't reached yet. This sector was sector Draconis. The government of this sector, realizing the thruth of the danger that these creatures pose, began to stop company activities in the sector. To combat this threat, they train a special elite squad from the marines that are there. This new squad was to be armed just as heavily as the marines and received just as much training. The one thing that they have above the marines is experience. Each member of this squad was given at least 5 years of experience battling these creatures on the virtual reality screen and 2 years of battling live ones (usually newly bred aliens and teen predators that were captured). This is so that none of the members ever go into battle blinded. They shall always know how to deal with their enemy.
This new squadron soon became known as the Alpha Draconis squad. The job of this squad is to find and exterminate any of these creatures. Although dubbed as "exteminators", they still value human lives and will rescue survivors if any is to be found. They truly are humanity's best chance of survival.
New history: A hidden part of the history was also recorded but was never publicized until now due to pressure from Weyland-Yutani to keep it hidden. The squad have long been known to go against the wishes of the Company. Sometimes, they even go directly into company test labs and destroying any Xenomorph or Predator specimens to make sure that none of the specimens escapes. This has caused the company much frustrations against the squad. In a couple of situations, the specimens actually escaped their confines and much death resulted. The Alpha Draconis had always been sent to destroy the specimens before any more damage can be done. In a way, they are like the "clean up" crew for the Company's messes and because of this, there was much protest from the members of the squad. Even though they had never failed in wiping out these creatures wherever their mission takes them, this still caused them much frustrations. But none shall be equal to the incident at one of the unknown planet (not told due to the fact that all documentaries save some about this incident was destroyed).
All we known of this incident through the few documents left, is that in one of the missions, the squad was sent to the unknown planet, to destroy an escaped Xenomorph specimen. But soon, they realized that the situation was out of control, as the specimen bred thousands of more Xenomorphs. This in turn, also attracted a large group of Predators seeking prey to hunt. The squad was outnumbered, and the final order was to nuke the site. A majority of the member tried to reach the dropship in time, but orders (regardless of their lives) was given out to do it before most of them had reached the dropships. People on board the orbiting dropships watched as the whole planet was nuked with a whole salvo of nuke missles, taking the lives of many squad members along with it.
One of the few survivors, their leader Lt.TDN, lived through the experience to tell the tale. Yet, the name of the planet could never be remembered (nor was it been able to confirm that the members knew about the name of it before they landed at all). Lt.TDN (his codename) would always have trough this experience forever.
